U2gigs

Hey, thanks for the compliments. Running the site has been pretty rewarding the last couple of months (though U2.com's never-ending incompetence has been frustrating, especially with the removed dates). I've decided to head to Europe for this tour, especially since I don't like the chances of the band coming to Australia and New Zealand; I have tickets to see Paris I and II, Amsterdam I and II, and all three in Dublin. My U2gigs co-maintainer is seeing 18 of the 24 European shows! Even I think he's slightly mad, heh. But I can't wait to do live setlists during the concerts (we're aiming to text the set to U2gigs' Twitter account for all the shows we see), and all the photography we'll have afterwards should be great. - Axver (talk) 14:05, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, it's madness! The only European shows neither of us will attend are Nice, Glasgow, Sheffield, and Cardiff. I could have gone to Nice, but seven shows is enough for me and I want some time to sightsee with friends in Switzerland instead. I've been saving up for a midyear European holiday for some time now, so the European tour dates are pretty much ideal for me. Helped me come up with a well-defined itinerary, that's for sure.
U2.com has been baffling. Apparently what they initially posted on the 9th of March hadn't actually been given final approval - I know for a fact that the Gelsenkirchen concert, for instance, had some question marks about whether it would be on the 3rd or 4th of August due to other bookings at the venue. Some other people have suggested that the North American dates were pulled so that they could be announced at very short notice to thwart scalpers; if so, I doubt they stopped a single scalper! Since many of the announcements have been so low-key, I hate to think that some fans who simply don't check U2.com or fansites daily would have missed out on knowing a show's on sale. Anyway, that's my rant ... I'm sure my frustration with U2.com has been readily apparent in some of my U2gigs articles anyway! On a more positive note, must admit it was a real highlight to write that article announcing the extra 1979 shows that had come to light. - Axver (talk) 08:17, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I dont know what your problem is but just because Bono is a turd doesnt mean you can undo my edits like you did on Pokemon. You keep it up and I'll post it on WP harassment.LifeStroke420 (talk) 18:48, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Go ahead and report, my edits are clearly not harassment. I am a member of the Pokemon WikiProject, the Pokemon article has been on my watchlist for years, and I have made several substantial edits to it in that time. For some reason the films listing shows the secondary dub release dates as opposed to the original Japanese release dates. For your information, the dub release dates areapproximately one year behind those of the original, hence why the 12th film is being released in 2009. Post on WP:Harassment if you want to, I really don't care if you do or not. Here, I'll even provide a link to the first step for you to save you the time. It is clear to any outside observers that my edits do not constitute harassment. So go ahead, do it. But until you learn how to seperate reality from fiction, I'd advise you to not make idiotic claims and arguments as you have been doing in your interactions with me so far. MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:56, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

And now youre harassing me sexually dude seriously back off.LifeStroke420 (talk) 23:53, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Please explain to me exactly how my above comment could be construed as being sexual harassment. If you are so concerned, I am more than happy to initiate a discussion at WP:ANI so that your concerns can be addressed.
I have seen nothing productive about your behaviour on here so far, and through your interactions with me it seems that your only reason for being on here is to annoy and cause others strife. If you do not take your claims of harassment against me to ANI, then I shall take my own concerns regarding your behaviour to them. Accusing other editors of harassment and sexual harassment with these unfounded claims is not something to be taken lightly, and I will take it up with ANI if you continue this. Of course, if you are really so concerned that my behaviour constitutes harassment and sexual harassment, then please drop them a line first. Though given your tendency to accuse every editor who reverts your edits or tries to engage in discussion with you of "threatening" you I do not believe that you will be taken very seriously, especially when the administrators actually look at our discussion history. MelicansMatkin (talk) 00:43, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: LifeStroke420

Ah, I see. I owe you an apology, MelicansMatkin. I took a quick look at LifeStroke420's talk page and I saw numerous complaints from different editors against him about edit wars and other vandalism. I should have looked there before I accused both of you of edit warring.

And as I'm writing this, I noticed you added "Cheers" to your message on my talk page. I'm touched! I wasn't offended by your message and I hope you weren't offended by my unjustified accusation of edit warring against you. Again, I'm sorry. Cheers! -sesuPRIME talk • contribs 03:04, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh no, I wasn't offended at all; I can see how it could have been perceived as edit warring, and I just wanted to clarify that with you. No apologies are needed, I've done the same thing in the past. I added the "Cheers" because, when re-reading the comment I'd posted, I thought it sounded a bit too abrupt and I didn't want it seem as if I was angry. I just didn't want you to have the perception that I was edit-warring over such a little matter ;). MelicansMatkin (talk) 03:10, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
No problem. By the way, what is the proper method concerning the Pokémon movie dates? Should we use the Japanese dates or the North American ones? I think it looks a little odd to see a movie called Pokémon 2000 with a release date of 1999. -sesuPRIME talk • contribs 03:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Same here, and it's something I've been intending to bring up at WP:PCP. From what I can tell, the inclination is to use the Japanese release date in the articles themselves, but not on the Templates or the Pokemon page. Generally, the first release date has the priority in any other article I've looked at (most albums for one), but because there's a year in between the dates...
I really don't know; I've always thought that it makes more sense to call them by the alternate titles on the covers (Mewtwo Strikes Back, The Power of One, etc.). The First Movie, 2000, and 3 just seems bizarre, especially when looking at them on the templates. Might be something to bring up. MelicansMatkin (talk) 03:50, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you

For putting that on my archive I'm new at making them. And I can be civil lol. That was a honest mistake earlier with Pokemon and I'm sorry.LifeStroke420 (talk) 18:36, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

It's no problem, I spent about an hour trying to figure it out when I archived for the first time. I had no idea how subpages worked back then. No worries about the Pokemon article either, we've all made honest mistakes like that before. MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

U2 dates

It looks better when the dates come before ! Lurulu (talk) 19:28, 9 April 2009 (UTC) Much more readable that way ! Lurulu (talk) 19:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I disagree and have responded on your talk page. Please take any issues you may have with the article to the talk page. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:34, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
There is no possibility of improvement if you systematically undo what I have done !!!Lurulu (talk) 19:37, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Because your edits were no improvement. As I have already suggested, please take it to the talk page if you are so concerned with the article's quality, so that a discussion with all the contributors to the article can ensue. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:39, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
You say my edits were no improvement. Why not ?
Has Wikipedia become a totalitarianism ? Are you a "big brother" ? Lurulu (talk) 19:43, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Because placing the dates first looks horrendous, and I have seen no other article which does it. When discussing an event, the most commonly accepted practice is to list the event first and the date after. I have already explained to you about Songs of Ascent. I repeat myself yet again; if you are that concerned then take it to the talk page so everyone can discuss it instead of on my talk page where nobody is aware of it. And yes I am a "big brother", though I hardly see how my family matters are any of your concern. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:49, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't think one single minute that placing the dates first looks horrendous ! It's much more readable that way ! You say you have seen no other article which does this way : this is a weak argument for you point of view ! (for instance, see the Simple Minds wikipedia site !)

The words "big brother" mean "dictator" : it only refers to Orwell's 1984 novel "Big Brother" ! Instead of acquiting as a "big brother", as a wikipedia censor, you better read that novel and get an education !

It's OK about Songs of Ascent ! Check my last contribution : though I didn't agree, I finally surrendered !

Nobody may be "aware of it" : I don't care ! You are the wikipedia censor, therefore the one to talk to !

This is really the very first time I encounter so much problem with my wikipedia edits !

You better think about it, young boy !

Lurulu (talk) 20:14, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I know what you were referring to, I was being facetious. Since it is about the article you take it to the article's talk page, not to me. Regarding the dates, I will say it again: the most commonly accepted practice is to list the event first and the date after. I will take your problems with Wikipedia into consideration when you begin to use proper grammar. Any further discussion should take place here. I will not respond to any further comments about it on my talk page. MelicansMatkin (talk) 20:19, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

This is ridiculous ! My grammar may not be proper my but - thanks God - I'm not a (Personal attack redacted by Jeremy (v^_^v Cardmaker))anglo-saxon !

Lurulu (talk) 20:25, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I apologize for my last comment; it was unnecessarily rude and I have removed it. I have opened up a discussion here. Please direct any further concerns or comments there instead of my talk page. MelicansMatkin (talk) 20:29, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't think any Wikipedia contributor deserves such treatement. Besides, I finally don't think this U2 page deserves any attractive presentation...

Lurulu (talk) 20:43, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I apologize again for my rude comment, and you're right that it was undeserved. I've dealt with a lot of frustrating issues recently, and my patience snapped when you refused to listen to my suggestion to open a discussion on the talk page. That wasn't right, and I apologize. Discussing issues with as many editors as possible by posting on the talk page instead of just with one user is how Wikipedia is built, and it is the best way to avoid conflict. MelicansMatkin (talk) 20:46, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Two last words :

I don't think "narrow-minded" is - in any way - a (hard) personal attack !

Besides, I don't think censorship is a good thing for wikipedia & winkipedians !

Lurulu (talk) 21:00, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I never reported you for making any personal attack, and I didn't actually take it as such. I took it to be something said in the heat of the moment, much as my own rude comment had been. That the user came by and removed it was simply a coincidence. And I don't understand what you mean by censorship, as I have seen no censorship here today. In fact, Wikipedia is on the whole very much uncensored. MelicansMatkin (talk) 21:23, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Magnificent...

How good is the video! And, there is also a video of the song at the Somerville theatre concert in Boston - both on the official site if you haven't seen them. --Merbabu (talk) 01:59, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

I haven't seen the official video yet, but the Somerville video is amsolutely amazing. It's going to be amazing seeing that one live; that and Breathe anyways. Thanks for the heads up about the video, I'll definitely check it out now. MelicansMatkin (talk) 02:01, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
I can't say whether the Somerville one is better. Maybe it's one for the fans, whereas the Fez version is one for a wider audience. --Merbabu (talk) 02:15, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
That wouldn't surprise me. It was really well shot though; when I first saw the Somerville video I thought it was the offical one until I remembered they were shooting it in Fez. I like both of them, but I think the Somerville one may just barely be my preference. The Fez video is definitely refreshing though, given the number of live videos they've done in the past. It's got a really nice feel to it. MelicansMatkin (talk) 02:30, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

The First Time

Regarding this edit to The First Time (Surface song) and this edit to The First Time (song): It is improper to move pages by cutting the contents from one location and pasting them to another. I also would like to move The First Time (song) to The First Time (Surface song), but to be done properly--which includes moving the edit history along with the article--requires an admin's help in this case. I was going to list the request at WP:RM; I hadn't gotten around to it, but I will.--ShelfSkewed Talk 15:58, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

My apologies; I tried doing it via a proper page move, but the page already redirected back to The First Time (song). I didn't know that it's improper to do it that way, or that an admin's help was needed. Thanks for letting me know. MelicansMatkin (talk) 16:16, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
No problem. Wikipedia has so many guidelines and rules, the learning curve is practically eternal. I have entered the request for the article move. If you want to support it, the discussion is at Talk:The First Time (song). Cheers!--ShelfSkewed Talk 16:30, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Only members of the British Empire can be awarded as a Knight of the British Empire. Bono is a citizen of the Republic of Ireland and does not qualify. He was announced as an Honourary Knight of the British Empire, which is an award given to those who are not members of the British Empire. It is a wholly different thing, and in any case a consensus has previously been established to not include "Sir" or "KBE" in the article's lead. MelicansMatkin (talk) 17:13, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

In proper English it seems to this person that you are editing from the standpoint of protecting your contributions for the sake of the glory of being a penultimate authority rather than for actual correctness.Masterknighted (talk) 11:05, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Your presumption is incorrect; it has been shown repeatedly on the talk page that "U2 are" is correct when using British English. The U2 article is written using British English, and per WP:ENGVAR the opening sentence is correct and should not be changed. The article uses British English, not American English. Get over it. MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:51, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm over it - it is not that either is correct but that it is limited in its' totality by myopia. Further, as if you assume that the one you are conversing with has only read "American" English when it is United States English you mean as American refers to Amerigo Vespucci and all the Americas- Masterknighted (talk) 07:52, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

U2 corrections

Hi fellow U2 fan, I wasnt trying to be destructive with my U2 editing; I was just trying to correct the sales figures for the new album. Im an ardent fan and look at the United world chart statistics every week and I know for fact the sales for No Line are at about 3 million and 50,000 copies sold and definitely NOT 5 million(although I do hope it reaches that plateau soon!!!) All the best! Craig —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.168.43.32 (talk) 20:44, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps, but the citation provided states 5 million. If the international sales are indeed 3 million, you need to provide a citation which corroborates that instead of just removing the information. MelicansMatkin (talk) 21:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

With or without You

Hi.. Your edit summary for moving the page back to With or Without You said "without" is not a preposition. Isn't it? It's on List of English prepositions. And one example I noticed recently is Rock with You. TheCoffee (talk) 12:30, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Every time I have ever seen it spelt (Wikipedia excluded) is "With or Without You". Plus it didn't seem to fit in with any of the criteria you linked to. I suppose it is a slightly similar situation to "Sunday Bloody Sunday". The absolutely grammatically correct way of spelling it would be "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" but that is not how it is spelt by the band. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:27, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

I always notice you chage the track listing to that format. is this necessary. Will the old style do, according to the guidelines? I quite hate the new format, because it's too wide Haha! Suede67 (talk) 14:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

It probably isn't necessary, but I know that a lot of albums and singles have switched over to the format, and I actually quite like it myself (I think it looks a bit neater and cleaner compared to the haphazard and inconsistent structuring that is typically used). There are a lot of other parameters that can be used (seen at Template:Tracklist), which is probably the reason for the wideness. MelicansMatkin (talk) 14:55, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, interesting. Nice feature, but I wish there was a way it'd not take the extra space when the other fields arent used. Thanks, anyway and good luck in bringing GOYB to GA status! Suede67 (talk) 14:59, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't know if there is a way to shorten the length or not, but you can ask at Template talk:Tracklist; I'm sure the people on there would know if it's possible. One thing I've noticed is that if the template happens to run up against an infobox, it does appear to be a bit shorter to prevent any overlapping. MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:02, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
That's right, it does do that. I'll see post a comment on the talk page and see what happens. Suede67 (talk) 15:03, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

U2 music vid directors

I was surprised to find the disco page isnt featured yet. I ref the FLC and one problem was the non-inclusion of directors. I left a message on the talk page hoping someone would pick it up. Maybe you can? Or can get someone to do it. I'm burdened myself, or I'd do it myself. Talk:U2 discography#Video directors Suede67 (talk) 12:04, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

I'll take a look at it, but I'm quite busy right now in trying to get No Line on the Horizon to FAC among other things. I meant to do a bit of work on the directors when the FLC happened but, as usual, I forgot ^^;. I don't imagine it would be too too hard to find that information, it's just finding the time to look at and integrate it. Thanks for the note; I'll look at it after work and see if I can do something. MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:25, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Sure, NLOTH looks great, good luck with the FA! Suede67 (talk) 15:28, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks; there was a peer review a couple of days ago, so I'm working on implementing those suggestions before moving to FAC (starting with focusing on the references). It's gonna take me a little while, but it will be definitely worth the effort! MelicansMatkin (talk) 15:49, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Doesnt seem much work is to be done. Though I saw on the to-do list on the talk page that the charts section needs to be checked if its reliably sourced. Its not sturck out yet, so I'm volunteering to do that. I hope you wont mind.Suede67 (talk) 16:17, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh not at all; it's a collaborative effort after all, and that would be a great help! There are a couple of links for certs and such that I posted a while back on the talk page, but I don't check them all that often to see if there has been any updates, only once a month or so. Checking all the refs and such would be a massive help, thanks! MelicansMatkin (talk) 16:38, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Done, the whole charts section, ie: album + singles + non singles. I believe you wont need to check them again, barring "go crazy" on the tipparade, as it just appeared 2 weeks ago, and it's slowly climbing. See you later. Suede67 (talk) 17:03, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks so much, that was a huge help! MelicansMatkin (talk) 17:04, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
No problem! Loved to contribute in some way! Suede67 (talk) 18:05, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

U2 Correction

The United World Chart lists the album as platinum which in their terms is 2 million sales. If you add up the weeks' sales beginning from their first week on the charts through now, the album sales are at about 3 million and 70,000 copies. An Irish newspaper's incorrect and grossly inaccurate stats should not hold weight over actual chart statistics. I apologize for not having a citation, but posting the album sales at 5 million from an inaccurate source, isn't any better than me posting an accurate stat without citation. Craig —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cmrock456 (talkcontribs) 23:00, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

You should read WP:OR, since your argument constitutes exactly that. You need a citation which backs up what you say rather than making your own conclusions and changing the information so that the citation no longer supports what is said. From WP:V: The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. It sucks, I know, and I would much rather have truth myself, but we have to put what the sources say. MelicansMatkin (talk) 04:23, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

No problem!

I got curious myself after seeing this and this, as I had always seen ext. links. So I checked on the guidelines. I just feel if the article is going for FA nom, even small bits like these are important. Suede67 (talk) 18:15, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

They really are; I've looked at some old FA noms and it's often the small details you wouldn't even think about that drag it down. I'd never seen it before you added it to the article, but I'm really glad that I know now!
PS, have you seen the new music video? MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:21, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, I have, just today, it's brilliant! I was hoping to write a description on the article page, but got lazy: too many stories intertwined in the video. Maybe someone else will do. Btw, if you need any more help on NLOTH, let me know.Suede67 (talk) 18:26, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Hahah, I'm actually just writing up a summary now! Normally YouTube can't be used as a source, but since it was first posted by the band's offical YouTube channel, I think it qualifies in this occassion. I'll be sure to let you know with NLOTH (you should probably expect me to come knocking at some point!); I've tried to vary some of the wording and make some other small changes for the prose and repetition, but it's slow work and pretty time-consuming. MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:39, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Haha it's better if you write it. I too think the official channel can be used as a source. I use it sometimes to cite video director credits. Also, can other general video interviews be used to cite what band members say? I'm really thinking to do that, cause I work normally on Snow Patrol articles, and there's really less print coverage of them. Suede67 (talk) 18:45, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
So, whaddya think? As for other interviews, it really depends. I personally wouldn't cite the YouTube link if it was just cut from a TV show and uploaded by a regular user. I'd rather cite the actual program using {{cite news}}, {{cite video}}, or {{cite episode}}, depending on what applies best. I'd only use YouTube as a reference if it came from an official band channel, or to link to a music video that has been posted by the proper distributor (such as universalmusicgroup). MelicansMatkin (talk) 18:59, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Excellent! Well worded! I hear you on the youtube videos bit, i'll try to take citations from officially sourced videos. Btw, mind doing a quick copy-edit in here? If you need to see the video itself, you can find it in the ext. links section. Thanks. Suede67 (talk) 19:02, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Excellent description; I hope my copyedit has helped! MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:16, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Why, thank you! Your edits have certainly helped, its so more readable now! Thanks! You did make a typo, though :)Suede67 (talk) 19:19, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
A typo is to be expected, knowing me :P. Glad I was able to help. It's true what they say, a fresh pair of eyes can be an immense help. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:23, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
I wouldnt call me eyes "fresh" though! Suede67 (talk) 19:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: Bad charts

I didn't find iLike listed there, but I think you meant "charts pertaining to ONE SPECIFIC retailer". Right? Damn, now I'll have to remove this from Snow Patrol singles. Suede67 (talk) 19:38, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Yep, that's the one; iLike gains all of it's data exclusively from iTunes, and iTunes is on the list. It's actually kinda surprising how many deprecated charts there are. MelicansMatkin (talk) 19:50, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
"iLike gains all of it's data exclusively from iTunes" - I didn't know that, it will be helpful. Suede67 (talk) 19:52, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Questions

I did some minor edits here and there, you can check them through the history, but I have some questions:

  • In the lead: "The album is U2's first since 2004's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, the longest gap between studio albums in the band's career". Do we need a reference for that?
  • In the section of "sessions - eno & lanois", is there a need to mention that "white as snow" will appear in Brothers? I feel that's drifting off topic, but its really minor. you decide.
  • In "promotion": "Despite not being nominated for any awards". If I remember right, the album wouldnt have been eligible for being nominated because of its release date. Should this be explained?
  • In "formats" - first two aren't ending with full stops, the rest are. is this intended?
  • In the singles section, you might add a ref for "go crazy" release date. i didnt do it because there might be a link existing that needs to just be ref'd twice.
  • I merged "notes" with "refs" as the notes section is non-existant. You can revert if you like.

That's it from me. Was it any helpful? I'll see you later. Oh, and my compliments on a really comprehensive article. I only see you maintaining it, well done. Just let me know when you nominate it. I'd like to see how the process goes. See ya. Suede67 (talk) 00:23, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, a ref probably would be good for that (I know it exists and I think another source mentions it somewhere), but that part of the sentence may not even be needed (though it is interesting!). The "White as Snow" part probably isn't necessary, but I think it adds to the background of the album tracks. I think that mention is something that the FAR would decide on, if it comes up then. You're right that the album wouldn't have been eligible, but I don't think that there is a source which mentions that. Hmm, maybe changing it to "despite the album not being eligible for any awards" (hope that won't need a source) would work. The full stops aren't intended, it's just a silly error on my part. Since it's a bulleted list, no punctuation should be necessary. I don't think a ref is needed for the "Crazy" single since U2.com carries it (and it's best not to use that as a source in the article); I'll try and find one somewhere to cover it, but if I can't find one other than U2.com I don't think it'll be a major issue. The notes section contained a very brief blurb about "Cedars of Lebanon", but thinking about it that should really be integrated into the article instead.
Thanks very much for taking the time to copy-edit (and your kind comments!). It's definitely looking better because of it. I've asked Merbabu to take a look too, since another pair of eyes may spot things that we've both missed. I'll be sure to let you know when I nominate, but if you have the article on your watchlist you may see a talk page edit regarding it. MelicansMatkin (talk) 00:50, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
No problem! Yes I do have it on my watchlist, so guess I'd come to know. Suede67 (talk) 05:14, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Just noticed that the "notes" section I had merged is gone. It's a dead link when you click the "1" beside White as Snow". Suede67 (talk) 05:20, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Whoops; I merged the info into the article, but forgot to remove that notation from the tracklist! MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:22, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
"found a citation for the longest gap" - excellent! it indeed is a nice lil' bit of trivia. Suede67 (talk) 05:28, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Shh, we don't like to use the "T" word around here ;-). By the way, like the screenshot I added to the IGCIIDGCT article? (That's one hell of an acronym). MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:39, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
The "T word" haha! Yes, the snap is great! And relevant to the description so i dont think anyone would nom it for deletion. The GOYB snap can be, though! Suede67 (talk) 05:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Urgh, I was trying to find an image of a woman in a position of power to illustrate the quote, but couldn't find anything. So I settled on that one for the green-screen effects in the hope that one would sneak in while I took it. =S MelicansMatkin (talk) 05:45, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Still, its a nice addition. Suede67 (talk) 05:48, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
