[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Diary of a Wimpy Kid (film) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://soundtrackgeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Diary-of-a-Wimpy-Kid.jpeg. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:21, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Metroid: Other M, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Hounder4 (Talk) (Contribs) 17:21, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Amazing Spider-Man poster.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Amazing Spider-Man poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
PLEASE NOTE:
- I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions. If you have a question, place a {{helpme}} template, along with your question, beneath this message.
- I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
- If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
- To opt out of these bot messages, add

Spiderman poster
[edit]Please stop reverting to the larger poster. Fair use regulations mean that the poster cannot have a side larger than 300px which the image that you uploaded did. All I did was reduce the size. It will still show that you uploaded it. Thanks. Quentin X (talk) 08:23, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to File:The Amazing Spider-Man (film) poster.jpg, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Jhenderson 777 14:00, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at File:The Amazing Spider-Man (film) poster.jpg. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Jhenderson 777 01:11, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
- You have to explain your edits with your revert. If you could explain yourself saying it had Stark Industries on my version (which I just now noticed) we could have both fixed that. But never explaining revisions is something you should mostly avoid in Wikipedia. Just a heads up. Jhenderson 777 22:37, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
The Amazing Spider Man Poster
[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
As such, I have uploaded the poster to the maximum that fair use allows. Please refrain from further uploads. Stay frosty. Quentin X (talk) 06:10, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Metriod100, pleaseeeee stop reverting to the teaser poster as a new poster has arrived with the rating! If you do it again, you'll be blocked from editing.--Plea$ant 1623 16:23, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
Metroid100, I know that is the theatrical poster used in cinemas, but if a theatrical release poster arrives, we should use that.--Plea$ant 1623 18:10, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia Help Survey
[edit]Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.
Thank you for your time,

Hi, Metroid100. I am Dianna and I am an administrator on this wiki. I can see you have already been warned twice not to edit war to insert your preferred version of the poster. You have reverted eight times in the last few days (and an incredible eighteen times since April). If any of the other editors had reported you at WP:3RRNB, you would surely have been blocked. Note that there are several users reverting you, not just one, so you need to take that as a sign that consensus has gone against you on this issue. Please don't revert any more; you will be blocked. Thank you. -- Dianna (talk) 19:27, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Edit warring
[edit]You are receiving this message as you have recently been involved in uploading versions of File:The Amazing Spider-Man (film) poster.jpg. Please see my comments here. I have protected the image, as the backing-and-forthing is not acceptable- instead, the alternatives should be discussed, and a consensus reached. Continuing to edit war in any way may result in a block. Thank you, J Milburn (talk) 21:13, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
I have requested unprtection for File:The Amazing Spider-Man (film) poster.jpg, but please DO NOT revert to the teaser poster because I'll gonna upload the official final poster. [edit] Hello, I'm Astatine-210. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Call of Duty: Black Ops II, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, at-210 discovered elements ∞ what am I? 16:19, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, you were caught in the crossfire and you did remove some vandalism but some other vandalism was still present. --at-210 discovered elements ∞ what am I? 16:21, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Super Mario 3D World, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Super Mario (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:13, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
