the dozens of links to the different galleries that hosted their exhibitions is not necessary. The numerous links to the exhibitions of societyofanimalartists is not necessary it is an affiliated source as he is the president a brief section about the exhibition would be much clearer it is not necessary to list every venue especially as he was one of the artist. Wikipedia is not for listing every single thing that a person has done. There are links that I have no idea what they are there for e.g. [1] they don't even mention Siegrist. The creator of this article has do some serious pruning in the list of exhibitions and the sources.
