Protect the Spoofhound
[edit]Hi Mobyrock: If possible could you post enter the fray to protect the Spoofhound article. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spoofhound Americasroof 02:03, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Can you add some independent, verifiable notable sources to indicate that that individual is indeed notable and should be included in Wikipedia? Note that "local celebrity" status doesn't count. From Wikipedia:Notability (people), under Basic Criteria, point 3 is not satisfied by the current article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Largesock (talk • contribs) 17:36, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Savagehead.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Savagehead.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:03, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Asking for help on WiKUpedia project
[edit]Hi Mobyrock,
My name is Jarrod and I'm currently working on a project called WiKUpedia, with the goal of providing the one-stop shop for all things KU. We've had a tremendous response from the community since we went live on Sunday but we need help organizing and improving the wiki. We decided to reach out to experienced Wikipedia editors with ties to the University. You can read a little more about our project in a news story in the Lawrence Journal World
Please feel free to take a look around our project and if this sounds like something that interests you, please respond on my talk page or by email. Thank you so much in advance. Jarrodm (talk) 05:08, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Thegame.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Thegame.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 08:12, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Brian Zahnd
[edit]The article Brian Zahnd has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject of article likely does not meet WP:Notability, article is unsourced and unfocused. External links are inappropriate
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Grey Wanderer (talk) 02:02, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
There hasn't been much activity at WikiProject Missouri or any of its child projects lately, and I saw your name on the list of active participants. If you are willing to jump in again, please consider helping to revive the project:
- Put {{WikiProject Missouri}} on the talk pages of articles involving Missouri. This helps to categorize articles
- Write, cleanup, or expand an article about Missouri
- Source a Biography of a living person living in, born in, or otherwise affiliated with Missouri
- Help spread the word about the project
- Update the project page or the portal
- Watchlist or check the project talk page for updates
- Join one of the child projects:
If you know anyone who might be interested in Missouri (its history, culture, sports, people, places, architecture, etc.), please pass this message along to them! If you are still interested in the project but aren't currently active, please add yourself to the list of inactive participants at the bottom of this list. Thanks!

Orphaned non-free image File:Savagehead.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Savagehead.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:50, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
