Thank You
On behalf of Wikipedia, I would like to thank you for undoing vandalism on the March to WrestleMania: Live from Toronto article.
Re: McStroke
I owe you an apology. I didn't realize you were changing it to the correct episode number. Family Guy episodes from seasons 6, 9, 11, and 12 get changed so often because they are listed differently on Netflix that it becomes hard to keep track of them all. Thanks for your help. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:46, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
- Davejohnsan, thanks for the understatement. Most of the series on Netflix have episodes that are listed differently, and I don't trust them (Netflix). Take the season 6 of Futurama, for example, which had 26 episodes. The first half aired in 2010, while the second half aired in 2011. On Netflix, these halves are listed as different seasons. Same thing goes for the 7th season, which had the same amount of episodes. Nickag989 (talk) 17:49, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
Thank you!
Hello Nickag989, thank you for expanding the references in WrestleMania 32. I'll admit I have been inserting some bare URLs into the article, because it's hard to cite when I'm using my mobile to edit (like now). Then I forget to expand the references when I'm on my desktop. So good job to people like you :) starship.paint ~ KO 02:31, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
Episodes
Nice job at articles on episodes of television series. It's nice to see somebody else actively cleaning up plot sections and such. Actually, nice job in general. I see you popping up in my watchlist regularly and you seem to constantly be making great edits. —DangerousJXD (talk) 20:48, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Road to India
Hi, how close is Road to India to being GA-worthy? Because if it isn't by three months after the broadcast, the Good Topic for "Road to..." will be demoted and that would be a shame for everyone's work on those episodes? tAD (talk) 17:18, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm conscious about that, and no, it's not ready for GA, at least not yet. I do want to keep "Road to..." as Good Topic, but man, aside from ratings, it's really hard to find information about "Road to India" (e.g. production). Nickag989 (talk to me!) 18:02, May 24 2016 (UTC)
As you have warned him too on his talk page I thought I would let you know...............
I have reported DanRatedRKO to an admin as he is once again attcking users and removing content from WrestleMania 32. Thought I would let you know as you warned him back on june 2nd. below is the admin I reported him to.

I didn't think your prior response you removed was obnoxious btw Chris "WarMachineWildThing" (talk) 23:02, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I know that was awkward, but oh well. Now, WM 32 is protected temporarily is a good thing since no one will broke it. Again, thanks for everything you've done it. Nickag989 (talk) 06:51, 25 June 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 12
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Boy Who Knew Too Much (The Simpsons), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Apu, Sequestering and Assault and battery. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Crystal Cathedral
Hi, I don't understand why you are so adamant about obliterating influences of the design of the Crystal Cathedral. They obviously look alike enough for many web postings to make note of that. The fact that you are constantly on top of this particular page, deleting my entries and references, makes me wonder about your motivations, especially since you say you are in Romania, yet during a late afternoon in the EST of the US, when I am working on this bit by bit, you are constantly undoing my additions, bit by bit, that I have made to the US Bank Stadium Page, throughout what is the middle of your night time. I do see that you copied suggestions on the way that I should approach this, and I have no objections to them, but I still wonder why you would be up all night in Romania worrying about a Stadium page in the U.S.A., constantly undoing what I feel are valid additions an American web topic. Also you obliterated the fact that Dr. Schuller had already won the very first American Institute of Architect's Lifetime Achievement Award for his conception of the Crystal Cathedral Campus, the very central topic of this section. A picture is worth a thousand words but you deleted every one I added. To me this all seems very relevant to the to the origins of design of the Stadium. That fact that you don't think it is, is your 'opinion'? I am currently reminding, and will continue to remind more newspapers and news outlets in the US on the similarities visually and in construction, and they are collecting information already to hopefully write articles on the similarities and will be publishing them soon. I am hoping HKS Inc. will also give tribute to the influences on their main web page. I will post those new main newspaper article references to the US Bank page as they appear, if that is ok with the powers that be at Wikipedia. When the Design section is being discussed, I don't see why putting almost identical pictures of the Crystal Cathedral alongside US Bank Stadium is out of bounds, when the very section topic is this very comparison of the Crystal Cathedral to US Bank Stadium, which has been widely discussed and observed around the internet. Perhaps you could help me keep the pictures located in the section that is applicable rather than vertically. By the way, your English is very good. If you can help me in additional ways, please let me know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.196.187.100 (talk) 01:32, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
- Don't even ask me why it took me so long to reply (because of the freakin' school). Anyway, how relevant is the Crystal Cathedral to this article? That building is all glass while the U.S. Bank Stadium is only glass on two sides. Maybe for you it is, but for everybody else (including me) it's not the same thing. On one hand, the connection is weak, at best, and on the other, several sources that were either not reliable (personal blogs and fan forums) or didn't actually mention Crystal Cathedral (referred to the new stadium as a "cathedral") should be removed. It has drawn a few comparisons, but nothing major at this point. By major I'd consider something in an architecture review, such as an architectural journal or in a newspaper. A passing mention of similarities in fan articles and forum posts doesn't cut it. If Crystal Cathedral is mentioned at all, it should be in the overall design section (not in a separate section) and should get a sentence or two at most. If a third-party source doesn't exist that discusses the similarities in depth, there most definitely shouldn't get the most discussion in this article. Nickag989talk 18:47, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
Simpsons
I intend to rewrite all such introductions, regardless of the content. The intro should include the most basic and useful things such that when a person hovers the cursor over a link to that article, it presents the essentials, not trivia such as the date it was first aired. If you are guarding articles you need to move to one side. Zedshort (talk) 19:46, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- This is not how an episode of The Simpsons is supposed to look like. There is a style guide for this {"Episode's name" is the [number ie. first] episode of The Simpsons' [linked season number ie. first season], that originally aired [original airdate]. It was written by [writer's name] and directed by [director's name]. (If applicable) It saw [guest star(s) name] guest star as [character name/themselves]. The episode sees [one sentence plot introduction].} Nickag989talk 19:58, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
- The key word here is "guide" It is nice that some people at some time decided to do things a certain way, but I see a real need to put the subject up front, not trivia such as the date of the airing. When you hover the cursor over a link to an article it brings up the first bit of the intro and that should have a much useful information in it not trivia. Rule number on on WP is that there are no rules. Zedshort (talk) 20:03, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
Based on what you said above, why I should follow your [awkward] example? Nickag989talk 20:24, 23 October 2016 (UTC)This is against WP:TVLEAD, a rule that has been established ages ago. Of course, this is necessary. Used at all of these articles. Without it, the sentence doesn't make it clear that the mentioned date is when it first aired. If you don't understand these rules, maybe you should focus on the topics. Nickag989talk 16:00, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

Undo on WWE tag team champs
If that's the case, why is the WWE still stating Demolition holds the longest reign of tag team championships and that the New Day are the second longest?Repenix (talk) 18:01, 31 October 2016 (UTC)Repenix
- It's all about the context. They say Demolition are longest reigning tag team championships of any kind that were contested in WWE, whereas New Day are the second longest. This can be changed as the days goes on, but one thing that will never be altered are the tag team championships in WWE; the Demolition still holds the record for the longest reign as World Tag Team Champions (the orginal world tag team championship contested in WWE from 1971 to 2010) and the New Day holds the same record for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship (introduced in 2002). Nickag989talk 20:18, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
True, and this is all really a moot point. Just wanted the correct information out there for the present. The New Day are set to break that record regardless, that's why there's been no BIG storylines for them until they get closer to the break. Repenix (talk) 11:46, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Now it's all good. Thanks for the understatment. :) Nickag989talk 07:22, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

Look up 2017 in professional wrestling and you will see that every notable event in a popular promotion is mentioned and detailed. Optimistic Wikipedian 14th February, 2017
- @Optimistic Wikipedian: If you say so, then why it's only stuff from WWE? Nickag989talk 19:43, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
- That's because only WWE is detailed for that year compared to 2016 in professional wrestling. Optimistic Wikipedian 19:49, 14th February, 2017 (UTC)
- @Optimistic Wikipedian: LOL, that article made a lot of sense because, at least, it covered results, events, title changes, deaths across every wrestling promotion around the world. Nickag989talk 19:57, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Optimistic Wikipedian: Your addition of years in wrestling is actually redundant, because it is the same thing such as years in other categories. For example, there's 2012 in sports and all of the sports events that took place in that year are linked in that article. However, sports events don't have links to this article since that addition seems out of place. Nickag989talk 18:52, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

- @Spacecowboy420:, you're the only editor that is super nitpicky about the disclaimers. The previous one was clunky as all hell, and after 2 revisions of that, it's still not enough for you to justify its existence. What is wrong with it? Nickag989talk 09:45, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- It is not required. People know that professional wrestling is scripted. If they are clever enough to read Wikipedia, they know it's fake. Why explain it to them as if they are 3 years old? Spacecowboy420 (talk) 10:37, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Spacecowboy420: I have to say that SOME disclaimer is absolutely necessary in an encyclopedic article. Doing some reading on it, it appears that the scripted nature of professional wrestling used to be a guarded trade secret and not widely known or acknowledged... now it is acknowledged, and most fans are pretty much aware that everything is scripted... but the shows themselves do not disclose this within the show, whether in the credits or otherwise, and it is still presented as if real. Given this, it is still possible for someone watching pro wrestling to be confused about the actual reality of events, and we need to make it clear from the getgo. And yes, some editors have been trying to get rid of this for years because they find it extremely annoying, redundant, and unnecessary. "See also: Professional wrestling" at the beginning of the background section as a hatnote works fine for me. However, if we must have something to acknowledge the nature of pro wrestling, "The card featured ten matches, which resulted from scripted storylines and had results predetermined by the WWF" seems best and should go as the last sentence in the lead. It's just better prose. I have no objections to it. Leave the background section for actual background of the event. Nickag989talk 10:47, 7 March 2017 (UTC)

Stop reverting WrestleMania X-Seven
Stop reverting WrestleMania X-Seven. It's already sourced that it's the end of the Attitude Era, as well as people knowing. You don't have to be picky about it.
- There's no consensus. Just because WWF bought WCW, and Stone Cold turned heel, it doesn't mean that it was the end of the Attitude Era. The stars make an era not the heel/face turns. Nickag989talk 23:28, 18 March 2017 (UTC)

- Thanks for keeping your eyes on these pages. At this point in time, it's common knowledge that pro wrestling is scripted, but removing disclaimers is completely pointless. I don't think that they read the guideline or just the title of WP:NDA, as in the following:
For the purpose of this guideline, disclaimers are templates or text inserted into an article that duplicate the information at one of the five standard disclaimer pages:
- Wikipedia:General disclaimer: Wikipedia makes no guarantee of validity
- Wikipedia:Content disclaimer: Wikipedia contains content that may be objectionable
- Wikipedia:Legal disclaimer: Wikipedia does not give legal opinions
- Wikipedia:Medical disclaimer: Wikipedia does not give medical advice
- Wikipedia:Risk disclaimer: Use Wikipedia at your own risk
- And in that time, all of these users have done zero edits to user talk pages, zero edits to talk pages, and, most importantly, zero usage of edit summaries. Nickag989talk 15:00, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi Nickag989. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Beeblebrox (talk) 00:22, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Please explain why I should not remove rollback because of your reversions on A.J. Styles. --NeilN talk to me 15:39, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
And not block you for edit warring? --NeilN talk to me 15:40, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- I screwed that up way too soon. I was part of edit wars multiple times in less than a year, and I should be temporary blocked for my actions. I understand that, and I apologize for these mistakes. However, I explained, at least in my edit summaries (in this scenario) that the "villain/fan favorite" term are preferred over "face/heel" per WT:PW rules, but this user basically ignores me, and he keeps doing this. Nickag989talk 15:50, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- @NeilN: Can I say to you both? I'm glad this discussion is taking place because while I know I shouldn't have concerns like this, I was hesitant to report +Tony1210+ at AIV or anywhere else because I was pretty sure it would also result in a block for Nickag989. Just my two cents. CityOfSilver 15:56, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- Okay, first, you need to adhere to the "when to use rollback" instructions a lot more closely. Another misuse will likely result in rollback being removed. Second, you should also explain in article talk page posts. And as the other editor is relatively new, help them out a bit by pinging them or posting to their talk page, pointing to your explanation. --NeilN talk to me 16:00, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- I promise I won't abuse my reverting powers by using tools such as the rollback, Twinkie, or basically use the "undo" button as soon as I make more than 3 reverts per page in 24 hours. Also, I can't edit as much as I would like to in the weekdays, because of school. (thankfully, by Friday, I start the 2-week holiday) Nickag989talk 16:08, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

New editor
I have a feeling that this new editor is a sockpuppet of a guy who was around recently who kept screwing around on Attitude Era articles.★Trekker (talk) 17:15, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm TheStrayDog. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to 1. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you. The Stray Dog Talk Page 20:16, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

Please check out the talk page of this WP article. We have someone who is making threats to have the entire page removed. The page has been up for over 13 years and he's getting admins involved by saying there's no references. Please join the convo. OldSkool01 (talk) 10:24, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

Edits
What is wrong with the changes I made? They are accurate. How is it vandalizing? The info is correct and factual. Ron234 (talk) 20:45, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
- Stop adding the single brand exclusive PPVs event. They are just redundant or trivia. Nobody on WP:PW has ever done that and it will never be in the future. Nickag989talk 21:04, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Why is an issue tho? It's a simple added info that makes the brand split seem more incorporated. Also you seem to be awfully confident about the future pal. Ron234 (talk) 22:01, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

Your WWE Network event reverts
Firstly there is inconsistencies that I am trying to fix. Some list only PPV and some list PPV and WWE Network event, your reverts are leaving things inconsistent. Second one of them is linking to the list of events and one is linking to the network page, so it isn't duplicating any links as your reverts seem to indicate. Third, if you don't like both being linked the correct answer isn't to revert, you can feel free to fix the way its linked, but all the events post the launch of the network should be consistent. Some still show it as WWE Network event and others such as Survivor Series (2017) show it as WWE Network event. That is my step two of fixing, but first things first, so stop being counter productive. - GalatzTalk 19:15, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

Need your help with the article History of WWE
The IP address 203.217.42.113 continuously vandalizes the article History of WWE, with unsourced and inaccurate information, spams and events not notable. (for eg the IP mentioned Charlottee beating Natalya to win her 3rd Wwomen's championship It belongs to Charlotte solo article, not this article which is only for historic and notable events such introduction of WWE Network). I request you to monitor the article and warn the user of that IP Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by GoodMan291 (talk • contribs) 15:46, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 8
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited WWE Raw 25 Years, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages DX and Razor Ramon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

"Pipelinking"
Hello, Nickag989!☺ As you are an experienced user in the field of WWE, I wanted to ask a question.😀 Few weeks ago I pipelinked A.J. Styles in the Bullet Club's article but someone reverted it by mentioning WP:NOTBROKEN as AJ Styles is a redirect to A.J. Styles' article.😕 So I also remove pipelinks from Royal Rumble (2018) and Fastlane (2018) but User:JDC808 keeps reverting it.😯 I mostly edit video games articles and sometime WWE articles as well so I need your help in this matter.😄 Thanks in advance!😊 Pure conSouls (talk) 13:39, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- We've all been through there, since this problem persists on every article. This is all a preference. You don't need to follow them. It's your own choice. Nickag989talk 18:35, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- My experience is to use pipelinks over redirects (essentially skip the middle man) as that was something that was told to me during GA and FA reviews years ago. I don't remember reading NOTBROKEN when I was learning the general guidelines. If a pipelink is already there though, there's no need to change it to a redirect. --JDC808 ♫ 21:57, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) @JDC808: One other thing to keep in mind is redirects with possibilities. This isn't the case with AJ styles but it is with other things. For example Royal Rumble (2019) is not yet created, but the redirect is. This should be a redirect, not piped like Royal Rumble (2019). That way once the page is created everything already goes to the right place. - GalatzTalk 16:58, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

reverting IPs
Why did you revert this? It seems like a legitimate request. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:03, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- It's not necessary to change the size, it's good enough as it is, but that IP user continuously removes the images from the biography infoboxes for no reason at all. Nickag989talk 21:17, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- I agree, the change proposed wasn't necessary. I often revert empty requests. Per WP:TALK, it seems like you should have marked the request NOTDONE, rather than revert it as if it were vandalism. I can see that you have issues with that particular IP editor, but you might be more careful when batch reverting. Prodigiously placing warnings when reverting vandalism is the best path to getting an admin to issue a block. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:49, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
