unblock-spamun|Olhellel|Your reason here Hello Olhellel. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "backvendor".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/backvendor}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:25, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Olhellel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Olhellel (talk) 09:39, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have reviewed the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Applause and want to add pages for top software testing companies to Wiki (Hockeyapp, Testfairy, etc.). If you think that the page is related to Ubertesters looks like a spam, please explain why the page about Applause is here? What is a criteria?

I kindly ask you to explain this situation. In the case of my message rejection let me know, where I can take a look what kind of rules I have broken to avoid this situation in the future.

Regards,

Victor

P.S.: Also, it is not my first page created in Wiki. I have posted and edited pages for UA and RU segments before.

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:03, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

unblock-spamun|Olhellel|Hi. I do not understand the following: 1) How my username (Olhellel) "indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group". I have created it more than 4 years ago. 2) I do not get the reply to my questions: - Why the information that I put to wiki looks like a spam? I have posted the example of the other page that should be deleted in the case of Wiki policy to. But it is on the site. That means that the person who marked my post either got something wrong or do the actions that violate Wiki rules. - What rules I have braked? I'd like to clarify this moment and not to do it again — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olhellel (talkcontribs)

I've fixed the format of the unblock request for you, and please sign your messages with "~~~~". Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:00, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Jimfbleak: I have to say I'm not seeing what's inherently promotional about the name "Olhellel" either, what am I missing? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:00, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Boing! said Zebedee. If I had a reason, I can't see it now. The most likely reason is that I hit my "delete and block" tab instead of just the easyblock "delete". Now unblocked, apologies for my carelessness.
Olhellel, I deleted your user page because
  • You cannot host articles about any company on your user page
  • Even as an article, it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. Your refs did not meets the criteria. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, turnover or profits, not just what it sells, which is promotional.
  • If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it.
