Hi, OneThousandTwentyFour. I welcome you to Wikipedia! Thank you for all of your edits. I hope you like editing here and being part of Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); when you save the page, this will turn into your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or put {{helpme}} (and what you need help with) on your talk page and someone will show up very soon to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Nikkimaria (talk) 18:39, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your article is currently ineligible for DYK. Please review the MOS for article capitalization. Thanks,  Kiefer.Wolfowitz 09:41, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pentti Kanerva requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Eeekster (talk) 00:38, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Negated sigmoid function.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Negated sigmoid function.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:24, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What do you want to learn how to do, if not editing articles? You can let me know here, I'll be watching your page.

Another good resource is this primer for new editors and this cheat sheet to reference for syntax when editing.

The reason your image is tagged is because it isn't really a screenshot of Microsoft software: it is just a graph that happens to be generated using Microsoft Excel. The license tag {{Microsoft screenshot}} should be replaced with something else like {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}, but only you can change it. We can't assume for you. — This, that, and the other (talk) 02:01, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
