Successful(l)?

I had accurately quoted the US source about Alice Le Geyt and assumed it was a US spelling, and said so in a comment. You"corrected" it. If it's not a standard US spelling of its time, by all means add {{sic}} or change it but in that case also remove my comment, which is now a nonsense. Thanks. PamD 13:12, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi. Sorry, did not see it was part of a quote, have added a sic after the word, which as you pointed out, is the correct remedy. Not sure if, at the time of writing, that was an accepted spelling. Onel5969 TT me 13:27, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

USRC Lincoln

Since you are the only other person to edit the article USRC Lincoln, I am going to ask you to look at the article and tell me what I am doing wrong with the display of the infobox at the bottom of the article instead of the top. I have looked the markup over carefully but I don't see my error. Thanking you in advance... Cuprum17 (talk) 16:51, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Please help create subsections (early life, education, and career) on the Emmanuel Ibru page. I don't know how to do that yet. Thank you. Jay Kenechukwu (talk) 06:21, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi. The article is not long enough to break into sections. But in the future, if you wish to add sections, you simply follow: ==Section header==. Onel5969 TT me 23:07, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Dear editor:

Could you look at this article when you get a chance? His age and where he was born aren't mentioned anywhere that I could see.

Meitei religion

Hi! I see you are helping the direct targeting of article links by changing from their disambiguation page links in different pages. The page Meitei religion was changed from a redirect to a disambiguation by an ip without any consensus or discussion and it was deemed to be unconstructive, and thereby reverted back to redirect status, where I stated the reason in my edit summary as well. If they really want a disambiguation page, then it should be at Meitei religion (disambiguation) and not at Meitei religion. I see you have been helping in this too, by changing from Meitei religion to Sanamahism in different articles. Some articles are also delinked, instead of linking to Sanamahism (maybe you have a good reason). Could you please help regain linking status back for those articles where "Meitei religion" is delinked? Haoreima (talk) 23:11, 9 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi. The only ones I delinked were the ones which also had a link to Sanamahism (usually parenthetically), so I simply removed the overlink, since Meitei religion is simply a redirect to Sanamahism (such as this difference). Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 00:49, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

Heyman... I had put the {{which}} tags on those links so that someone would look at which of the current species to change the link to; there are four species now. Did you check to make sure all of the ones you changed to Javan short-tailed gymnure are correct? I hadn't had the time to do so, but tagging them I had the time for.... - UtherSRG (talk) 02:26, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi Uther. Yes, all the locales' lists were within the distribution range on the Javan species page. Onel5969 TT me 09:42, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
The Javan species page has not been updated with its new range. So that's not good. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:22, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
Well, whoever created the new species pages should have done that. So that's not good. Onel5969 TT me 12:05, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
That would be me. I'm working it now. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:12, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
Okay. Sorry about the confusion. Onel5969 TT me 12:14, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
No worries. The fault was mine; I wasn't clear enough in the {{which}} tags that the species articles hadn't been updated. - UtherSRG (talk) 17:00, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
Ok, I've parsed through the reference to double check with and refine what's listed at ASM's MDD (which only indicates by country). Here's the updated distributions of the H. suillus breakup:
  • H. dorsalis: Indonesia (Borneo), Malaysia (Borneo), Brunei
  • H. macarong: Vietnam
  • H. maxi: Indonesia (Sumatra), Malaysia (peninsula)
  • H. parvus: Indonesia (Sumatra)
  • H. peguensis: China, Thailand, LAos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia (peninsula)
  • H. suillus: Indonesia (Java)
  • H. vorax: Indonesia (Sumatra)
Whew! I've reverted your changes and will update the species pages now. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:05, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for that. Or I can go back and do it. Onel5969 TT me 12:06, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
I think I have them all now. Fun! XD - UtherSRG (talk) 13:59, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

I see you have altered the name Beatrice of Guines into Beatrice of Guinness in the article Adelaide of Vianden. I don't know why, but Guines in France is not the same as Guinness. List of newspapers in Montana‎

Hello! I was wondering about your addition of Anaconda Standard to List of newspapers in Montana‎. It was a Montana newspaper but is not active now. (I need to deal with the Standard article because the redirect is weird but that's a separate issue). Tbennert (talk) 23:06, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

My bad. Usually list of newspapers have current (or active) and defunct sections. I did not read the lead well enough and missed that it was only current newspapers. Onel5969 TT me 23:11, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

Notability

Hello Onel5969 I created a page and it was reviewed over a year ago. Since I have added to the page with credible sources of articles directly about the individual and continue to build on the page. The page is Daniel Otter. I’m hoping you can review as an editor. Sorry, missed this. It's apparently a formatting thing that AWB picks up. Onel5969 TT me 17:27, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi Onel5969, I can see that you used DisamAssist to change a lot of links to the disambiguation page Medici Chapel into links to Medici Chapels on 18 January, e.g., here. Unfortunately, many of those links (perhaps most of them) should be to the article now at Sagrestia Nuova. The ambiguous scope of the article that used to be at "Medici Chapel", because of that term being a WP:COMMONNAME for the Sagrestia Nuova/New Sacristy, was the reason for the recent RM that resulted in the dab page's creation.

Are you able to undo those changes so that I can look at the "What links here" page for Medici Chapel and determine which links should be to Medici Chapels and which to Sagrestia Nuova (or, better still, the redirect Medici Chapel (Michelangelo))? I can't just look at what links to Medici Chapels because of all the links from pages which have the navboxes {{Florence landmarks}} and {{Medici}}. Sorry for this inconvenience. Ham II (talk) 09:25, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

Sure. I think I got all of them. Onel5969 TT me 10:04, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

Italian Army heavy artillery regiments

I am in the middle of creating and expanding these articles and you rushing in 1-2 hours after the articles' creation with "empty section" tags is rude. Give me some time to write all 8 articles, before throwing unproductive tags into them that cause to edit conflicts. Thank you, noclador (talk) 11:11, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

With that much lag time, don't create empty sections. Create the section headers when you create the sections. Onel5969 TT me 11:24, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Abudence in millets requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fram (talk) 10:43, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
