Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Pelapaz01, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Luta sportswear, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Tea House, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luta sportswear requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Hitro talk 10:37, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Speedy Deletion
Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.
Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid or what Wikipedia is not.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written about the subject.
Sometimes articles are deleted because they contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content can be used as a source of information, but the content here must be completely rewritten from scratch.
Any deficiencies with notability, sourcing, or things to avoid should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.

CONTENT IN ARTICLES NEEDS TO BE RELIABLY SOURCED.

recreating an article w/o improvement

[edit]

is a bad idea. It wastes time and effort. Please. Find sourcing for this. Use the article wizard to guide you. By reposting unimproved articles you just get them deleted. Dlohcierekim 11:01, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:40, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

citing sources

[edit]

You may find the following template template:cite web, useful in citing from web sources. We prefer inline citations, which means putting the cite after each part the cite applies to. We stick them between <ref> </ref></nowiki tags> You can give the ref a name, <nowiki><ref name=whatever> the first time you use it inn article and then use <ref name=whatever /> thereafter in the article. Put a {{reflist}} template at the end and it will list the ref's for you {{cite web |url = |title = |last = |first = |date = |website = |publisher = |accessdate = }} for instance- <ref name="Forbes"> {{cite web |url =http://www.forbes.com/sites/megacities/2011/05/20/fight-for-peace-creating-opportunities-boxing-champions/ |title =Fight For Peace: Creating Opportunities & Boxing Champions |last =Clarke |first =Felicity |date =May 20, 201 |website = Entrepreneurs |publisher =Forbes |accessdate =December2, 2013 }}</ref>

Hope this helps Dlohcierekim 13:45, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
