Please Make Lee Myung Bak thread a "semi - protected" document.[edit]

Not logged-on users are vandalising this document without any logical explanation. I think they are employers of Grand National Party and Lee Myung Bak

Is Korean WIKI independent from English wikipedia??

Is there as a "super administer" responsible for every wikipedia...?

If I have some complain about Korea wiki, where should I contact??? (except for Korea administer)

(Korea WIKI administers are all friends and they are employed by goverment., and they just ban accounts without any explainion if wiki user writes about things that goverment wants to avoid.)

I'm sure that they are paid by Korean Goverment dictated by Lee Myung Bak...

Please Let me write about that in English WIKI in order to let koreans know as many as possible.

AND I really don't want to go to Korean WIKI. it is censored by goverment. I want to be an English wiki administer.

how to apply English Wiki administer???

Administrators on en.wiki have no remit to intercede on other language wikis. Stewards have certain abilities across all Wikimedia wikis, but the problem you are experiencing may not be within the remit of the stewards. You may learn about administrator qualifications at Wikipedia:Administrators. Regards Tiderolls 22:59, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I answered your request for help before I read your talk page. I see that this subject has been explained to you previously. Is there some point that is unclear to you? I would be glad to explain further if you have questions or concerns that have not been addressed. Regards Tiderolls 23:24, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE HELP[edit]

Ko.wikipedia.org (Wikipedia in Korean) is very crucially damaged due to korean administer.

It is considered that Korea Goverment employed them and enforced to delete every thread that has somewhat opposite point of view with korea goverment regardless of contents of thread.

I wrote a thread, that the goverment might want to delete.

and my account was just banned. Korean Administer didn't explain anything that is related to my ban.

They just banned.

they banned my account for 1 months just my thread is against to goverment although my thread is just based on only FACTS.

I see that the thread of "LEE MYUNG BAK" (president of REPUBLIC OF KOREA, my country) is modified.

all things that is critics of him is delected. and just positive explanation is remained which is written by

supporters of Lee Myung Bak (The president of Korea)

Administer, please contact me. please reply my account.

Korean goverment tried to control internet, and they acted a "media law" that intended to censor all the contents in internet.

I'm sure that in several months, all the threads that goverment doesn't like will be delected by Korean administer employed by goverment.

please help me. In korea, television media has been already controlled by goverment.

please. please.

Korea is a democratic country. I want my country Korea to remain democratic... please.

If Wiki will be controlled depending on goverment's view point, all the internet world in korea will be censored by dictator Lee Myung Bak...

Internet world of korea will resemble just that of CHINA OR IRAN OR NORTH KOREA...

I'm sure that Wiki want all the internet world to be free.

Sorry, but as Soap pointed out below there is nothing we at the English Wikipedia can do about your situation at our Korean sister site. Favonian (talk) 22:41, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)This is English Wikipedia, we cannot help with another wiki, Admins here are not admins on that wiki.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:42, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Democracy around the world is dead. I want to ask you as a South Korean. Why are you complaining? (전세계의 민주주의는 이미 죽었는데 왜 불만을 표현합니까?) Komitsuki (talk) 00:11, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Althogh democracy of whole world is dead, I want my country Korea to remain democratic. I love my grand father's, my father's, my son's, and my grandson's country Korea. As Dangun stated, I believe that Korea should be owned by "Ordinary people". In order to achieve democracy, I'm sure that we should impeach Mouse Lee. Plu98 (talk) 16:53, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's too bad that the South Korean president is a bigger threat to the world than the North Korean nukes. As ironic as it sounds at least. Komitsuki (talk) 04:21, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Lee Myung-bak. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. If you are seeking help from an admin, please use the template {{adminhelp}} rather than cut & pasting your text on articles and user talk pages. Thanks, (talk) 22:10, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's right, but none of the administrators here are going to be able to help you with getting unbanned on the Korean Wikipedia. Soap 22:15, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lee Myung-bak[edit]

All right, I won't delete your section, but please join me in the discussion page to talk about it! Hazlzz (talk) 20:02, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your helpme template[edit]

  1. I semi-protected Lee Myung-bak for one week. This will keep IP users and non-autoconfirmed users from editing. In the future, you can make requests for page protection at WP:RFPP.
  2. Yes, the different language Wikipedias are separate from one another. They are owned and operated by MediaWiki, but they are not the same. You need to sign up for each (or have a unified login). They have some differences in policy, etc.
  3. Regarding administrators on all projects, I believe you are referring to stewards.
  4. Regarding contacting someone about problems on the Korean Wikipedia, try one of the email addresses at m:OTRS. However, I rather doubt that the government has installed administrators at the Korean Wikipedia, as it is decided not by the government but by the community. You will not be able to write about this in the articlespace of the English Wikipedia because there aren't any reliable sources covering this problem. The information is considered original research, because it has not been published elsewhere.
  5. You can become an administrator on the English Wikipedia by creating a request for adminship. However, you only have 73 edits, 38 of which are to actual articles. Please consider reading over Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship, as it will detail the general requirements. You, frankly, will not pass a request for adminship at this point.
