sofia hayat DOB

Sofia Hayat 29 year old.

She stated herself in a reality show on March 2013, she is 28 year old, also many daily newspapers indicated her as 28 year old in early 2013. I had updated her dob 29 year old as there are sources to prove her age. --- Smauritius ^{diR mWa!!} 08:37, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What about IMDB that is accurate..rather than tabloids

IMDB is not at all accurate - please see Wikipedia:External links/Perennial websites, Wikipedia:Citing IMDb, and WP:RS/IMDB. Pocahnontas, nobody is going to block TheRedPenOfDoom for attempting to uphold Wikipedia's policies regarding sourcing in WP:BLPs. When multiple reliable sources report conflicting dates, the conflict is included in the article along with the sources. This allows the reader to review the material themselves. Disruptive editing

I have tried to explain to you why your blanking of sourced content to revert to your preferred date is disruptive, yet it continues. I understand that you believe that there is only one correct date of birth, but Wikipedia reports what reliable sources say, and in this case there are multiple sources reporting conflicting dates, therefore we note the discrepancy in the reporting in the article. Imdb..Is a reliable source, daily mail is just a tabloid paper..her public birthday celebration and over 1000 sites saying 84 I can send at least 100 links. Your source is 1. I understand this 1 source is good for you, but also recently ms Hayat filed a police complaint and her don on that said she's 29. Is tha not enough?

No, long-standing consensus is that IMDB is not a reliable source for BLPs (see for example Wikipedia:External links/Perennial websites, Wikipedia:Citing IMDb, and WP:RS/IMDB). The Daily Mail would, under normal circumstances, be a poor source; in this case however, the story is written by the subject herself and is therefore an acceptable self-published source. Police reports and other court documents cannot be used per WP:BLPPRIMARY.
