Thanks for putting the tag in for Earthquake. Is ml Malayalam? Unfortunately, it didn't quite make it in intact. Could you try again, please? Thanks! Waitak 03:07, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ! Perhaps you will be interested in this article Melanophidium bilineatum. The photograph in the article is perhaps the first one of the species in life after its description in 1870. Has only been available in specimen jars in far away museums. Distribution appears to be very restricted. Shyamal 07:04, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re Vivek Verghese Cherian[edit]

Vivek Cherian helped tweak the IT setup while Malayalam Wikipedia was being established! I met him, he told me. Dont believe me, ask User:Prad2609 ([1]) - he was there too! I could be wrong in understanding what exactly he did but its rude to exclude the edit without at least asking the guy who put it up about the context. AshLin (talk) 08:14, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is known that once he was appointed as a temp admin for interface editing (from his ml.wp talk page, but not sure) but his total contributions available there (All four edits in user page). I have not seen any deleted edits also. Pretending as an admin may be more rude to a community. Please check his recent mail to Wikimedia india - mailing list also. Thank you--Praveen:talk 13:31, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to clarify the situation. The text was put up by me not Vivek. He said that he had been involved in tweaking at the time of the establishment of Malayalam Wikipedia but was not into editing. Since that is the kind of thing sysops do, hence my use of the word. I never implied or knew that he was an admin. So if there is a misunderstanding it is solely due to my edits and no fault of Cherian who has made no false claims. Hope this clarifies the sit. :-) AshLin (talk) 01:57, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I suspect his use of the term Senior Systems Administrator in his email is connected with RHCT which follows and not Wikipedia. AshLin (talk) 01:59, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ONV Kurup[edit]

I saw the 'Mathrubhoomi' article mentioning ONV's middle name as "Nambiyadikkal". However, the following sources [2], [3], [4] say that it is "Neelakandan". The first two are Government of India websites and the last one is from University College Trivandrum. Any explanation? Salih (talk) 15:24, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suryanelli rape case[edit]

I have reverted your edits on the Suryanelli rape case. The rape case article should have a chronological structure. Facts as they come to light and trial as they happen, should be added in a chronological order. You have created a subsection Accusations against P.J. Kurien, this is inappropriate and is in violation of WP:BLPCRIME. If the article is structured in your suggested manner, it seems like it is pointing towards the subject. I have reordered the events into the chronologically manner again, please don't lump them again into one section. -Kenfyre (talk) 17:02, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

+User:Kenfyre Please don't teach me what to do. You may want to re tone the article infavour of abusers. But you cannot remove WELL KNOWN and SOURCED content claiming BLPCRIME. Thanks.--Praveen:talk 02:24, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have reverted your edits, again. You are in violation of WP:BLPCRIME. Kurien currently is considered acquitted. The information you insist on gathering in one section called Accusations against P.J. Kurien are already in various sections in chronologically order. Please read the section Dharmarajan's arrest. I am trying to fix the article, please don't assume bad faith. -Kenfyre (talk) 06:15, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, You have removed so many WELLKNOWN and SOURCED materials, simply claiming improving the article and falsely using WP:BLPCRIME . Since you don't own wikipedia, please stop such actions. Thanks--Praveen:talk 06:36, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article OMKV has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:neologism. WP is not an internet slang guide. Apparently one borderline notable use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 19:39, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
