Welcome

[edit]

Hi, PyschopathicMan. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  14:57, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

First of all thanks a bunch for the barnstar! Also is there anything in particular you want to know or need help with? One thing I like to tell anyone is, before you add or change any content on the encyclopedia, always provide a reliable source so the change cannot be challenged by anyone. Also for more information related to those two topics you might want to check, WP:ALBUMS and WP:PW. STATic message me! 03:34, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, PyschopathicMan. You have new messages at User:STATicVapor.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I gave it a couple of adjustments, maybe expand the critical reception section, and im sure you'll find alot of information in this source. STATic message me! 01:34, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Thee Way Eye See It"

[edit]

A page you created, Thee Way Eye See It, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a song or piece of music, but does not indicate why it is important or significant (and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia) and there is no article about the song's artist. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for music in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. 🍺 Antiqueight confer 00:12, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WhoSampled

[edit]

Hey PyschopathicMan, I would just like to mention to you that WhoSampled is user-generated and is very unreliable in some cases. Such as stating that just because Schoolboy Q did the same ad-lib in "Work" by ASAP Ferg and "M.A.A.D City" that he does in a lot of his songs, that one song somehow samples the other, when that is just factually incorrect. WhoSampled turns up a lot of false positives because of minor similarities in songs, on top of that being user-generated, that is why at Wikipedia it is considered unreliable. That is why we usually do not state sample credits unless someone pulls them straight from the album liner notes. If Tyga/Republic Records could not clear a 2Pac sample, I really doubt Prodigy and his independent label could clear it. STATic message me! 21:55, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Blue Chips 2 may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hello PyschopathicMan. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Thee Way Eye See It".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:PyschopathicMan/Thee Way Eye See It}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 18:49, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Redman.
