Welcome!

I originally noticed you because of Mazut, but I see you've also written lots of material in Art theft. Keep up the great work! Melchoir 01:37, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I am not quite sure how the 'respond to talk messages' system works on MediaWiki 1.8.2 so I am just editing this page. Quackking 16:28, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that's what most everyone does; there's more information at Help:Talk page. Melchoir 22:27, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

C.h.u.n.k. 666

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, as you did with C.h.u.n.k. 666. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --FreeKresge 04:56, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was not aware that a PERSON was undoing my edits - I thought it was a python script, malfunctioning. Quackking 05:05, 8 January 2007 (UTC)quackking[reply]

i don't know if i know more. but i have a lot of time (to nerd out) on my hands, and a good internet connection. cheers! Murderbike 05:40, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hello, it seems a shame to me that the chunk article got deleted, altho it may well have deserved to have been deleted by not proving its notability under wikistandards. i dont know, because i didnt see it. anyhoo, i would like to create the article again, seeing as i can provide refs to prove the group's notability. i have contacted the admin who deleted it here and i will be interested to take it up after a week's wikibreak. i have left the same message for Murderbike, becuase you both appear to have been involved with the page. cheers, Mujinga 04:12, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

goodbye for good or just for now? i also found it a shame that the chunk page was deleted but having seen it now, i can understand why. it could definitely be done better. its at the top of my 'to do' list, but for a few real-life reasons i dont have much time right now. hopefully soon that will change. what i have done so far is to dredge up some references and the page is sitting here. if you have time/inclination to help me pull it into shape, please do.

for the rest, your rant does ring some bells round these parts, but please dont get too depressed with wikipedia. there is a battle for knowledge going on and if we dont fight it no-one else will! Mujinga 10:58, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Sid Paige

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sid Paige requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 15:30, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dan Alonso has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only notable for one event. This is why we have the WP:BLP1E policy

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Zeke Duckworthy has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. –Qpalzmmzlapq T C 15:06, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
