Speedy Deletion of Joseph Verbis Lafleur
[edit]Hi. The Article entitled Joseph Verbis Lafleur is not a direct copy or directly paraphrased from the page Father Lafleur.org. It was my own construction of story. All those I've written are of personal work. Some may be similar because I need sources to support the story. Ofcourse it may be similar to the page because it is his biography. Where on earth have you even heard of a story of a candidate for sainthood that will tell of two different stories? It would seem foolish to do that since were only talking about a single person. According to philosophy there is that principle of non-contradiction, that one cannot be and and be at the same time, it must be there or here. I do believe that this article I created must not be deleted because it provides informations about Catholic priest from the Military Ordinariate of the United States, who gave his life as a good and exemplary chaplain for his men in the Philippines, and is now in preliminary stages for canonization. In fact, in the Philippines there is a spreading devotion to him since Filipino Catholics are fond of saints and devotions. I want to you to save the page for those people having devotions to him and that you may give considerations for it. I don't know if you are Catholic, I'm not also Catholic, but I have great respect to their faith, and to this person whom they regard as a "Servant of God", which means a candidate for Sainthood. You should know that I met people asking of who Father Lafleur is. Maybe it's time to make an article in Wikipedia about him. In fact we should do this so to satisfy the inquiries of the Catholic and non-Catholics on Father Lafleur. We create articles in Wikipedia to give people easy access on informations on whatever matters. Please do save the page and remove the speedy deletion tag. I beg you for the people willing to know Father Lafleur. Grace be with you (talk) 13:17, 1 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, QueerEcofeminist. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. WPCleaner 2.0
[edit]Hello QueerEcofeminist.
I would like to inform you that a new version of WPCleaner is available replacing the old version (v1.43) dating back to almost a year. Unfortunately, going from version 1.43 to 2.0 automatically isn't possible and will require a new installation. It's necessary to install version 2.0 to take advantage of updates and bug fixes. Version 1.43 will have to be uninstalled manually, as there are no more updates for it.
The installation procedure is described at Wikipedia:WPCleaner/Installation.
Note: for usage in Bot mode, I strongly advise to check the modifications to be sure that the tasks run correctly

Your Dark Pattern edit
[edit]Hello,
Thanks for editing my last entry. I'm a little confused about the best way to handle such cases. It seemed like the right thing to do is provide the full list of dark patterns as well as the definitions of the author. If not, what is the recommended way? To use my own verbiage to explain the pattern?
Thanks! Joe Devon (talk) 19:10, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hi,
I saw this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Modern_Monetary_Theory&diff=888506920&oldid=888506340
and I ask you how to show that this article:
http://www00.unibg.it/dati/corsi/910003/64338-Warren%20Mosler%20Bergamo%20paper%20March%2010.pdf
is free from copyright. I explain: this article is on the website of University of Bergamo and it is free from copyright.
Thanks. --NUMB3RN7NE (talk) 16:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
NUMB3RN7NE, We need a public declaration on the site which says all the contents of this site or parts of it are copyright free/licensed under compatible license acceptable to Wikimedia projects.
But I don't see any such declaration on the university site you mentioned. QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 17:11, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi,
I wrote to the professor who held the course (Stefano Lucarelli) and this is his response (in Italian):
Puoi farlo circolare.
TRANSLATION (of his answer): "It is not covered by copyright, it is teaching material prepared for the Bergamo course taught by me and of which I was the university coordinator. You can reproduce it."

Ok I read your answer and I thank you for your patience. I will try to write him and ask if he can insert such a thing on the UniBG website... (I suspect it would not be a thing that can be done immediately, but it would require a bit more time... --NUMB3RN7NE (talk) 18:28, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Pending changes reviewer granted
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.
See also:

- Wikipedia:Pending changes, the summary of the use of pending changes

AfC reviewer and New Page Reviewer bit additionally added
[edit]Hi QueerEcofeminist. Apart from adding your account to the AfC reviewers' list, your account has also been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encylopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance. so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. Thanks, Lourdes 05:33, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
Lourdes, thanks a lot, I will use these rights wisely and contribute more to the project. QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 05:52, 24 March 2019 (UTC)

ACC tool access request approved
[edit]Thank you for your interest in the account creation process. I have verified that you have signed the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information and approved your request.
You may now access the interface here pending a tool root marking your account as identified in the tool database. Before you begin handling any requests, please ensure you have read and understood the account creation guide and username policy to familiarize yourself with the process.
Please subscribe yourself to the private ACC mailing list by clicking here and following the instructions on the page. I also highly recommend that you join us on IRC. We'll be able to grant you access to our private channel (#wikipedia-en-accounts connect), where a bot informs us when new account requests arrive, and where you can chat with the other members of the team and get real-time input, advice, and assistance with requests and how to handle certain cases that are giving you confusion or trouble.
IMPORTANT: Please note that repeatedly failing to correctly assess and process account requests and take the correct resulting actions will result in suspension of your access to the ACC tool interface. Processing account creation requests is not a race, and each request should be handled with your upmost diligence, care, and attention. Closing each account request correctly, accurately, and within full compliance of the ACC tool guide is your goal and your priority; never sacrifice accuracy and compliance of policy in exchange for quantity, or to close a high number of requests that are in the queue.
ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL: Releasing any kind of personally identifiable information or any kind of non-public data listed in the access to nonpublic personal data policy (such as the IP addresses or email addresses of account creation requests), whether intentionally or unintentionally, is treated as an extremely serious violation of policy and breach of confidential information, and will generally result in immediate suspension of your access to the ACC tool interface. Depending on the severity of the offense, the intent, and the level of misconduct that occurred, the violation and the breach of the confidential information will be reported to the Wikimedia Foundation, which can result in further sanctions and actions being taken against you (such as being blocked, banned, or having your identified status revoked). If you have questions about this, or aren't sure about anything in regards to this policy, please ask a tool administrator.
Your current user rights allow you to create up to six accounts in a 24 hour period. After this limit has been reached, you won't be able to create any more accounts. However, you can still process ACC tool requests without any issues; just place any approved requests back into the queue so that another tool user can perform the account creation step and finish the process for you. You also won't be able to create an account with a similar username to that of another account that exists; these requests are listed in a separate queue on the interface, titled "flagged user needed". However, if you reach the limit frequently, you can request the account creator permission at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Account creator after you've demonstrated a few months of experience and proficiency withe processing and handling new account requests.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions, and I'll be happy to answer them. Thank you for participating in the account creation process, and we're glad to have you as part of the group! Hi, thank you for your reply. I will soon start listing the reliable or notable sources as citation. Hope the subject page won't be deleted till then. How long it stays? IndianGlamor (talk) 02:50, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
- IndianGlamor, Yes, and please remove all self-published, affiliated, unreliable references from the article. Importantly those which just mention the subject of the article.
- See,
- if it's a news article - The news should be about subject or it should discuss the subject in details, mere mentions doesn't really help.
- if it's a mention in the book - Same goes there, it should have a sizable mention, discussions.
- All other sites (mentioned in this article), online material, blogs, facebook are not considered reliable ones.
- So, Please do that cleaning before you add good references. If you need any help in accessing books/research articles let me know, I can get you those. thanks QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 03:50, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
Hey I've added 4 to 5 notables sources to the articles. How many more you think we need to remove this template? — Preceding unsigned comment added by IndianGlamor (talk • contribs) 18:30, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

- IndianGlamor, I am talking about gaylaxy mag and IMDB, those are not reliable ones, as gaylaxy's editorial functions are unknown and IMDB is just a listing website, it tells this movie existed but not about why a particular movie is important or notable enough. QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 07:30, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- IndianGlamor, You can check WP:RS/IMDB QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 07:37, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
I have added a new reference on number 2 and 3 new citations in external links section they all are focusing completely on the subject at length and are published by DNA, Rediff and so on.
First of all apology for not writing my views here in an expected wiki format, I am trying my best to learn. I'd be removing references like Gaylaxy, tomorrow but I do not agree with your views on IMDb. Yes it's a listing site but they have their own verification process where they see notability of the film and Grant it a page. No matter on what scale it was made or released, they judge the film with citations again. That's why not all films are not on IMDb on this date. So even if according to you it's just a listing site, but I want to mention that this is the most popular international movie listing site that lists the films and grants an artist page after checking the notability hence calling it unreliable isn't realistic. So according to me and a lot others wiki pages of artists IMDb is an important reference. Thank you.
- IndianGlamor,
- * First of all, Its not about what I feel or what you feel, its about what are the policies decided by community here.
- * Even before I have told you to look at various policies, so WP:RS/IMDB this is one of the policies which was decided by community and not me. So what you feel has no value here, unless hundred of others here thinks the same and say it as a policy.
- * See, I havn't seen any clear signs of notability in your references till the date, but still I believe that, one fine day you will bring something and I am waiting for that. thanks QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 05:32, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
If the policy says so then why hundreds of even thousands of other wiki pages still have IMDb as reference? Like you said it's not about what I feel so it same goes for you. I will add some more citations soon and remove those templates that you have applied here on the page and let some other editor decide whether my my references are so called "notable" or not? Because earlier you had mentioned "if it's a news article - The news should be about subject or it should discuss the subject in details, mere mentions doesn't really help." So when I gave you links of mainstream and popular media with authenticity (DNA, Rediff, DC and Asian Age to name a few) you still don't see notability? That's strange.
