Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Ram Pratap Soni
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Ram Pratap Soni, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — Blablubbs (talk • contribs) 15:42, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Boing! said Zebedee. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kshatriya, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 06:36, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi. I have removed your addition of that list of names to Kshatriya again, because you have not included a source for it. All content to added to Wikipedia should be supported by reliable sources (see WP:RS), so that the readers can verify it for themselves (see WP:V). Also, the topic area of Castes and South Asian social groups has been particularly contriversial, and it is especially important that we stick to sourcing requirements im this area. We even have special sanction applicable to the topic, and I'll give you a notification of the details of that immediately below this message. So, please, do not add that list of names back unless you can provide a reliable source to support it. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 06:59, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

- And for the same reason, I have reverted your additions to Soni (caste). Again, the content you added was completely unsourced. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:01, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
