Me!
Hello BawinV. I see that you just reverted the edit I made that created a new section for "Other Versions". While it can be understood that other versions are being referenced when you read the prose, surely it is clearer to make a new section to identify the subject of the following text. Tzuyu's new cover is not used "in media", it is its own distinct thing. Indeed, the same applies to Taylor's live version. I'm not going to get into an edit war, especially since you appear to be an expert on Taylor Swift but I urge you to reconsider. Peter4Truth (talk) 16:41, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Peter4Truth: Hi, I think you're forgetting the fact that the section's title reads "Covers" too. Creating little separate sections for related topics in a same article is not encouraged, especially when it's a vast article like ME!. BawinV (talk) 18:26, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
- @BawinV: No, the section title is just "Usage in media". Perhaps it was once "Usage in media, and covers", in which case I'll let you change it. Or just "More information". The sentence about Taylor's own live version could arguably be put in the "Live performances" section but information about Tzuyu's cover doesn't fit there, or under "Usage in media", or any of the other existing sections. I came to the article looking for information about the cover expecting to see a section called "Other versions", or "Covers" as there are for plenty of other articles about well-known songs but no such section existed. I think it is entirely reasonable to create one since covers are not "related" to "Usage in media" any more than they are related to "Track listing" or "Credits and personnel". Peter4Truth (talk) 21:21, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Peter4Truth: I edited it. I think the current version suffices those purposes. Regards. BawinV (talk) 21:31, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
Renegade draft
Hi Bawin! I'm a little stuck on how to write the background section for Draft:Renegade (Big Red Machine song). Since you're great at writing (recent examples), I was wondering if you could help. Also – in completely unrelated news, there is an ongoing GAN backlog drive happening for the month of July, so we should be prepared to have our co-nomination started soon. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 12:46, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Doggy54321: Hi! Yes sure, I'll look into Renegade! And about the GAN, yes I'm ready. BawinV (talk) 16:49, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- Awesome, thank you! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 16:50, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- While we're on the topic of the GAN, the review has been started. You should have received a talk page notice by Legobot, but I guess since I nominated it, I'm the one who gets the notices. Maybe keep an eye on my talk page. Anyways, the review has been started, and you can find it at Talk:Willow (song)/GA1. Once the reviewer starts to leave comments, we can start to implement them into the article. I am already working on Talk:Into You (Ariana Grande song)/GA1 at the moment, so I will be focusing on that, but once I'm done that I can help with Willow. Thanks! - @Doggy54321: Alright! On it. I'll watch your talk page. Thanks! BawinV (talk) 20:03, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

My Tears Ricochet
Hi. I've just unknowingly manually reverted you on My Tears Ricochet. I see in the edit before mine you added that the song was written in April 2020, but there's no source on the article for that. I see that Swift said it was the first song written for Folklore, but I presume that as it's in recorded=, April–July 2020 is the recording period for the album as opposed to when all songs were written. We'd probably need a source explicitly stating "My Tears Ricochet" was written in April '20 before we can put that there. You'll find there are a lot of editors who take issue with specific recording months and writing periods unless they are explicitly stated in the prose, and they're well within their rights to challenge this material for being unsourced. In this case my revert was unintentional, but all the same, it should be explicitly mentioned it was written in April 2020. Thanks. Ss112 05:54, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
FYI
Please do not use the generic rollback for reverting edits like 1, 2, 3. This is not a form of vandalism, just some POV pushing and possibly OR by so called WP:GENREWARRIOR. Rollback should only be used for reverting blatant vandalism edits, that typically don't require an edit summary. --Ashleyyoursmile! 10:53, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
