Orphaned non-free media (File:Portrait of Caroline Sforza Cesarini painted by Francesco Podesti in 1837 (Courtesy Palazzo Sforza Cesarini, Rome).jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Portrait of Caroline Sforza Cesarini painted by Francesco Podesti in 1837 (Courtesy Palazzo Sforza Cesarini, Rome).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:18, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your article submission Victor Hall[edit]

Hello Segalen4. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Victor Hall.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Victor Hall}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 21:05, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Daniel Moylan[edit]

I'm reviewing your draft. It reads promotionally and omits reliable sources about the "Boris Island" airport debacle. There are two ways we can resolve this:

  1. I can decline the article and allow you to fix the tone of the article so that it's more neutral and add other "less flattering" sources that make the subject notable OR
  2. I can accept the article and tag it for needing improvement. I would be watching the article to ensure it's appropriately fixed before those maintenance templates come off.

Please let me know how you'd prefer. Chris Troutman (talk) 23:46, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Dodger67, I've never typed an answer into a talk page before, so I'm quite apprehensive that I'll get it wrong. Anyway, here goes. I am the author of the draft article entitled 'Daniel Moylan'. I submitted it for review, but it was not accepted by the reviewer (Chris Troutman), partly because he said it was 'promotional' and flattering to its subject, and partly because it needed to better explain the Boris Island airport proposal. A later reviewer said that I needed to back up my statement that Moylan is gay. I presume that what I need to do now is to fix these perceived problems as well as I can and then re-submit the draft for approval, as if it were a new proposed article. Is that right?
