Speedy deletion nomination of User:Seriamair
[edit]Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at User:Seriamair. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ~ Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:18, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

September 2021
[edit]Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 15:47, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
Bad faith editing
[edit]It is really bad form to move a draft to article space immediately after it has been declined as unsuitable for Wikipedia, especially without making any improvements to address the problems. Wikipedia is not your personal publication platform. This is a collaborative project, and you are not collaborating. ~Anachronist (talk) 18:45, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
- Any more bad behavior on your part will lead to the draft being deleted and you being indefinitely blocked from article editing. David notMD (talk) 23:56, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
- And now you have re-submitted the article for review without any substantive change to address the notability concerns raised by other reviewers. You are wasting the community's time. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:23, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
@Anachronist I am really sorry but am really confused why aren't you accepting independent new channels website references. ok can you help me out what should i do so that I can show the notability of the song. If you Don't believe me then you can also search on Google for this song Chhor Denge. but please help me out, how can I show the Notability of the subject. please help me out ASAP.
- Why ASAP? There are no deadlines on Wikipedia.
- Please see Wikipedia:Golden rule to learn what is expected before an article can be published. See also WP:NSONG about establishing notability for songs.
- I have consolidated duplicated sources in your draft. You basically have five sources:
- India Times video link, no significant independent coverage.
- YouTube link, no coverage at all. This is a primary source, T-Series promoting their video, not independent of the subject.
- A long article that provides significant coverage, but it is a press release from T-Series and therefore not independent of the subject, so it is not useful for establishing notability.
- Song lyrics and link, no coverage at all about the topic.
- India Today article, a short piece, half of which is about the performer and not the song. The coverage is not bad, but not really significant either, and it's just one source out of all of the ones you included that is marginally acceptable for establishing notability.
- We need multiple sources that are independent of the subject showing significant coverage of the subject. That's how you show notability. ~Anachronist (talk) 05:58, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
