[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from 1972 Championship of Australia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 14:10, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
references
[edit]Hi there, thanks for your articles on the championships of Australia, but please ensure that you supply a reference for every article. You obviously aren't remembering the scores or making them up, so just add the reference book that you are getting the scores from when you create the article. If you aren't sure how to format it, don't worry, I'm watching the articles and can help. Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 01:26, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from London–Sydney Marathon into 1968 London–Sydney Marathon. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:48, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Triple Crown of Motorsport winners articles
[edit]Hi Sinkers009. FYI, I have started a discussion at the Motorsport WikiProject regarding List of Triple Crown of Motorsport Winners and List of Winners of Triple Crown of Motorsport Races, which you created. You are welcome to participate in the discussion. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 09:29, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
The article List of Triple Crown of Motorsport Winners has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This table is neither sufficent notable nor sufficently large to be it's own article. At best it should be merged with the existing table at Triple Crown of Motorsport.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

2022 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2022 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
