Not 100% sure if an edit I made is correct- "the" to "its" Aineireland (talk) 22:14, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- I think that is fine, that's the meaning I took from the DIB. Smirkybec (talk) 22:19, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Who should be among the remaining 26?
I was going to suggest Jack Hanlon (artist) but he is already done -Jack P. Hanlon. I suggest Seamus Clandillon Aineireland (talk) 14:28, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- On, thanks for that note on Hanlon! Seeing as I already wrote about Clandillon's wife, I should give him some attention too! I'll have to plan my very last one - go out with a bang! Smirkybec (talk) 14:37, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Betty Lombard
Hi. There are a couple of errors with this article. It states that Lombard lived in Anglesea Road, without stating in which city that is. I assume it is Dublin but Wikipedia needs to specify such matters. It says that she was in the women's singles final at Wimbledon in 1953, but the final in that year was between Maureen Connolly and Doris Hart. Did you mean she was in the women's singles? Roundtheworld (talk) 19:08, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi! I have to admit, I know next to nothing about tennis, and even less about Wimbledon. The sources say something about her being the last Irish woman is play for the plate in Wimbledon, but I honestly don't know what that means. Anglesea Road is in Dublin, so that is an easy fix. I'm happy for anyone with better knowledge of tennis to tighten up the article. Smirkybec (talk) 19:13, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- The exact wording in the Irish Times is "the Wimbledon Plate final" in 1953, does that help? Smirkybec (talk) 19:15, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Thanks
For the shout out. It made my day, during these dark, boring, co-vid months. Ceoil (talk) 11:54, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

Clergymen's daughters
There is an article in today's Irish Times which provides an interesting background to some of your articles and interests. Online the title is The exceptionalism of daughters of the Irish clergymen by Finola Kennedy. Aineireland (talk) 17:20, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
- I hadn't seen that, very interesting! Thank you :) Smirkybec (talk) 22:47, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
