Hi, Spengouli. In answer to your question: Why provide a designation for "Independent" representatives, when there are none? Because this particular article is dynamic, in that it reflects the House as it evolves through time. It is not about a static (fixed) period in time, like a specific past session (149th Georgia General Assembly) for example. In a static situation, you would be right to omit the Independent designation, if there were none. Because there never would be any, in that case. But in a dynamic situation, where there have been Independents as recently as the last few sessions, and might be Independents in upcoming sessions, the Independent designation reflects those past facts and future possibilities. Also, it simply provides continuity with the "composition" chart on the left portion of the article that reflects past party affiliations. Listing Independent, with a zero, simply means that there are none at the moment. Removing the Independent designation altogether, sends a different message I believe. Deletion
Hi, you nominated an article about a hostage situation for deletion. You stated in the AfD that such hostage situations are common. I completely disagree with that. This is NOT a news entry. A man who was chased by police, shot at police, murdered people, and was in a standoff, is FOR SURE not "just another occurrence." I do not understand why you would conclude that. More on it on the AfD! --Kingdamian1 (talk) 05:06, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
