Welcome!

Hello, Stealth012, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Joshua Woodbridge's house, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 01:13, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joshua Woodbridge's house requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Joshua Woodbridge's house, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

A tag has been placed on Joshua allan woodbridge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Hello! Joshua Allan Woodbridge is not the appropriate place to post information about yourself, because it is in the part of Wikipedia where encyclopedic articles are written. A "userpage" at User:Stealth012, however, is available for personal information about yourself. When adding personal information please remember that Wikipedia is not a social network such as MySpace or Facebook. Your userpage is for anything that is compatible with the Wikipedia project. It is a mistake to think of it as a homepage: Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information.

Please, no autobiographies

[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 02:53, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Train, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place "{{helpme}}" on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Train was changed by Stealth012 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.949401 on 2012-02-28T06:16:45+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 06:16, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop wasting your time and ours. Your vandalism will always be quickly detected. If you continue in that vein, you will be blocked. HiLo48 (talk) 08:26, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Guild of Honorable Expugning Individuals Specializing in Trained assassinry (G.H.E.I.S.T), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Osama bin Laden. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 10:06, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A compliment and a warning

[edit]

First the warning. If you go on creating articles like these, you are very likely to get blocked from editing. You've got a brain - you could use it to actually help instead of causing disruption. Second the compliment. That's an interesting rhyme scheme, but you need to watch the scansion (look it up...). Not one I've used, and I do like unusual verse forms. I managed to write one poem where the last line of each verse minus the first word was the first line of the next verse with a new word at the end. The last line of the poem was, in this way, the first line as well, making it circular. The subject is someone recanting from his dark ways, but at the end going back to them - and then repeating the pattern in the circle. Great fun. Keep up the writing - both stories and verse - and keep stuff. You never know when something that didn't work will come in again later - either as a rewrite or for recycling. Feel free to ask questions. I don't guarantee answers to everything (and won't do your homework so forget that idea...) but might be able to point you in the right direction.
