A tag has been placed on Omniglot requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. bonadea contributions talk 08:31, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Perryhandbook.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Perryhandbook.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 03:57, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see remarks at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemical and Bio Engineering and Template talk:Chemical engineering. Your template Template:Veerashaivism looks pretty good. Perhaps we can revise Template talk:Chemical engineering in that style. The following image File:Chembioeng.PNG (shown at right) can be placed in this ChemE template, analogous to you image File:Basava.png in Template:Veerashaivism. The article Nilkanthrao Kalyani has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

No sources

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. You were indefinitely blocked on your primary account for copyright violations, then an unblock was also declined. But based on your commitment to me that you will not do any more copyright violations, I spoke to the other admin and unblocked you. However, you then continued the same copyright violations and were again blocked indefinitely. Now, on this sock account, you have continued the same violations by cropping images from their sources, changing the background and claiming as your own work. —SpacemanSpiff 08:11, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Wikipedia is my thing and i don't need an account for further contributions, left to your wish. The Ultimate objective of Wikipedia is to enrich the available encyclopediac content and i will continue my workBy the way regarding copyright violation one thing i want to say is that nothing in this world copyrighted, may be only on papers and it is not always been practiced, from industry labs to what u see in wikipedia.Infact i did not do it for any benefits but to enrich wikipedia.thank you

Decline reason:

Not a actual unblock request, more a manifesto. Regardless of your own views on copyright, Wikipedia's own views on copyright are what you must abide by if you wish to contribute here. If you don't agree, you are welcome to create your own encyclopedia elsewhere on the web. Syrthiss (talk) 13:43, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
