Welcome![edit]

Hello, TBoz2011, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. The article Dale Wilson (actor) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A tag has been placed on Colleen Wheeler, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Joe Fattorini, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons[edit]

Hello @TBoz2011:, I'm Exemplo347. I've noticed that you have been creating articles that are Biographies of Living Persons, but you have not been adding references to reliable sources. Your articles - please talk to us![edit]

TBoz2011: I came here after reading the noticeboard section about you, where people were pointing out that you may not have realised that you had messages here and that they were important.

We appreciate your writing articles on these people. I just added a reference to Claudia-Liza Armah; she has indeed been written about. But articles about living people must have at least one solid reference, because it's very important to be factually correct when writing an encyclopaedia entry about a living person. Unfortunately you carried on creating articles about living people with no references and didn't respond to the warnings on this page about this.

Do you understand now? I really hope so. Yngvadottir (talk) 18:33, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What you need to do[edit]

TBoz2011:

I hope you can see this. Unfortunately since you did not enable e-mail, nobody can contact you any other way.

First of all, the problem with your articles is that you are not providing sources. That means, newspaper articles, magazine articles, web pages, talking about the person and what they have done. Usually we make these footnotes, but just listing them at the end of the article—either the URL if it's on-line, or the author, title, publication name and date if it's not on-line—will do. Articles about living people must have at least one source/reference given, or they get deleted. Sources are also how Wikipedia determines whether someone is notable enough to have an article. Some of the people you are writing about deserve to have articles, but other editors are having to scramble to save the articles by finding and adding sources; for others, we have not been able to save them because we could not find enough sources to indicate notability, but it's possible you know of a source. IMDb and forums are not good enough, by the way; you have been assigning people to particular origins (Ghanaian descent, Igbo descent ... ); where are you getting this information? If it's a forum or just a guess, leave it out. Such personal information can only be included with a good source (such as a magazine interview where the person says what their family heritage is).

Secondly, you're blocked. You must not edit as an IP or make a new account. You need to ask here to be unblocked. Can you find the "edit" button? (I don't know what the mobile interface looks like.) Ideally, you need to copy the unblock template as it says in the block notice. But if can't do that, try asking to be unblocked under that notice, and I'll get an administrator to look at it. No promises, but this is a community of editors; you need to talk to us. Yngvadottir (talk) 17:17, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of David Ajala[edit]

The article David Ajala has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cabayi (talk) 13:54, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Derwin Jordan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TBoz2011, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
