Please do not re-add that information to Say Say Say unless you can back it up with a reliable source. Thanks, Pyrrhus16 09:40, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you, I will look into it. Pyrrhus16 09:53, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've took a look at the links. They may be reliable. However, Kesang Marstrand does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidlines for biographies. She does not have her own page, therefore, is not worth mentioning. If we were to include every indie artist to have covered the song, the list would be endless. Pyrrhus16 10:02, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- That's no problem at all. :) Pyrrhus16 10:12, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- She'd need her own page before we could mention her. To create a page for her we would need reliable, third party sources; such as high quality newspapers. Pyrrhus16 10:16, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Youtube isn't allowed as a source. She and her cover would need to be mentioned in newspapers such as The New York Times. If you can find such a source it will be more than welcomed. Pyrrhus16 10:19, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- That would be great. Pyrrhus16 10:29, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Just a Girl
[edit]Precedent among other articles is that we should not list covers by non-notable artists. The version you had listed was sourced only to her own website and her MySpace. Even though plenty of articles link to MySpace, we generally shouldn't do so, and we definitely shouldn't list cover versions by artists who don't have their own articles. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 02:10, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'd say wait until she has her own article first before re-adding it. You can make an article on her if you can find more sources of that caliber. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 03:58, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. As a general rule, make the artist's article first, then add their info to the song article. Don't put the cart before the horse. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 04:03, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- If you add sources to the new article (news sources, not YouTube or MySpace), then it'd be good to go. Wikipedia isn't meant for promotion; the person has to already be notable, not get promoted via Wikipedia. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 04:26, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- Like I said, just wait until she has an article, then add it and you'll be fine. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 05:04, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Citations
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures) please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:04, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. When you recently edited List of Chinese Canadians, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Don Valley (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Hello, I'm Binksternet. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Angry Black Woman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Request for a 3rd opinion
[edit]Hi! Since you are (or have been) one of the main contributors/maintainers of the Abba article, I'd like to request your opinion on a dispute about the proper handling of sales figures in the article's lead.
The dispute is at Talk:ABBA#Sales and your input would be very much appreciated. --Kmhkmh (talk) 15:53, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
