Hello, I'm Jaellee. Your recent edit to the page Park Joo-ho appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 07:02, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How was my information about Park Joo-Ho incorrect? I added a goal that I watched him score in stoppage time against Krasnodar (die-hard BVB fan here). He has one goal for BVB. That's all I added to his page. TheInimitableECypher (talk) 16:50, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Hi there. Unfortunately, people messing around with numbers in articles (such as goals scored, birth dates, number of copies of an album sold, etc) is a common method of sneaky vandalism. I'm not suggesting that's what you did, but minor changes to numbers without including a link to a source for that information can be seen as suspicious. Unfortunately, you can't use yourself as a source for the information. Do you have a link to maybe a sports report-type website that would show the number of goals scored? If so, I'd include that as a reference when changing that type of information. Cheers, Nick—Contact/Contribs16:58, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The BVB reporting on their own player would not be considered independent coverage, and I rather doubt the BVB's website is subject to the editorial coverage we require of reliable sources. It is, however, easy to find plentiful news coverage of Park's goal: Deutsche Welle, Boston Herald, New York Times. And of course there's more German-language coverage.
