Cirex
Hi Moderator:
There are a couple of references, the magazines are the only one that I found online version of it, one of them is not still running, only online not printed.. but thr article is there. I know International Movie Data Base is not reliable but you can checkout even in the film itself appear Cirex name at the end of the credits. There are chances fir this artist to be on Wikipedia? is because Wikipedia is very respectful source of information, and tels more than his website itself. Thanks for your cooperation,
Mroxidizer1 (talk) 01:59, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for reaching out to me. I'd go ahead and say to just, quite simply, include all the references that you can per theWP:REF policies. If you include enough... even IMDB, sure. (make sure it's not the only one, though!). I would make sure Cirex is notable (WP:Notability), just write the article, cite as many sources as you can, then just let me know here when you write it and I'll take a look if you'd like. Enjoy, and thanks for editing Wikipedia! Theopolisme TALK10:19, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Moderator thanks a lot for your assistance. Thia he draft of the article:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Cirex
you can checkout by yourself nad let me know please if the artist is notable for Wikipedia. Is notable in Puerto Rico, but not in the States yet. There are the references, even his music appear on two movies including "Taken". That's all the the references i found on him, I guess are quiet good ones. Thank you for your assistance, Regards Mroxidizer1 (talk) 10:36, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi Theopolisme
I understand that you have signed up at the CVU Academy and I would be delighted to be your instructor. If you would like to persue, please let me know at my talk page. We'll then begin work! MrLittleIrish (talk)© 15:05, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hi! I just had a quick look through your recent reverts and you seem to be getting the grasp of policies absolutely fine. What I'm going to do is monitor your edits every now and again to check how you are doing with your reverts and drop you some feedback when I next check. For now, I would keep on going, get a good number more reverts done and then apply for rollback again. If you have any questions in regards to counter vandalism, let me know, and I'll help you out where I can.
Thanks

- WP:TW is useful, but it isn't just an anti-vandal tool. I use it too. WP:IGLOO is still in alpha testing, that's even before beta, but it's okay (Huggle is better, but that's only for PCs). I do not use it. I've never used Stiki eitherWikipedia:STiki. It is again not a main reverting tool, and has less than a million reverts. Hope that helps, PC's FTW!Dan653 (talk) 23:47, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

While on the subject of questions, I have another... Do you know of any other pages that I can look at to see latest revisions to Wikipedia - right now, I just constantly check the User Contributions page with the parameters "New Users, Article, Latest Revision"... but are there other places I should be looking? Namely, one that will show me IP edits? Thanks so much - Theopolisme TALK23:53, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

No content speedy deletion
Hey, I noticed that you've tagged C.H.B for speedy deletion under A3. Although I agree that in the present state the article has no real content, it may be better to wait at least a few minutes before tagging it, to allow the creator time to flesh it out, as it may not have been created in its finished form. Ducknish(talk) 01:51, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- How long would you say is a good time to wait? Just curious. Thanks - TheopolismeTALK01:59, 29 April 2012 (UTC)

Edits to 16PF Questionnaire
Hello Theopolisme
Thanks for the care you've shown in protecting the 16PF questionnaire page. I made two edits - so I'm not sure which one you didn't agree with. These are the reasons for the edits:
"35 languages" - the 16PF has officially been translated into more than 25 - there may be more, but those will be unofficial copies and therefore are not official 16PF questionnaires
"the 16PF questionnaire has not replicated" - yes it has - there are referenced pieces of research in the existing article that show that it has - hence why this statement is incorrect and contradicts other things in this article. As such this removal does not require additional citations.
How do we progress from here please? Naturally, I would like these changes to be made as they are factual. As the article currently stands, it is misleading.
Thanks and best regards

- Thanks for reaching out! Wikipedia, per its policies, requires content to be sourced... when you changed the number to 25 and added some information, it may have been completely valid and factual, but it was not sourced... so we have no way of proving its validity. If you can find an official source (such as a book, journal, or reputable website) that backs your claim, you can add it as a reference to your statements (and also add your statements back), using the tips located atWikipedia:References#Footnotes. Alternatively, if you can give me that information, I'd happy to re-add your material, along with a citation, to the article. Thanks again! TheopolismeTALK09:02, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

question 1 - is it ok to delete broken links and/or URL's that do not seem to exist anymore without notifying the original editor(s) or leaving messages ?
question 2 - part of the data that I added (like some of the entry numbers) comes from a variety of printed sources that you can probably only find at fleamarkets, if at all; is it really necessary to add a reference for every detail ? If so, the references will easily/grossly outnumber the actual listings.
Alexandra Dumas (talk) 15:08, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for reaching out! In answer to question 1, it is usually better NOT to delete dead links, instead, tag them withTemplate:Dead_link -- I don't usually notify the original contributor,, but if you feel the need to, more power to you--there's no right or wrong about notification of dead links. In answer to question 2 -- this is a bit iffy. It's actually rather debatable -- see Wikipedia:Help_desk/Archives/2008_November_5#Over-referencing, then take a look atWikipedia:You_don't_need_to_cite_that_the_sky_is_blue - again, this is a case by case basis - do you have a link to the article in question, by any chance? - Theopolisme,
- Allow me to be a little incensed and put on my teacher's hat for a minute. It is somewhat easy to confuse Japanese and Chinese, Japanese has borrowed many character from Chinese known as Kanji, but they also use Kana characters which Chinese does not. Don't trust Google translate much on Asian languages. You can always poke around at AfC, someone there speaks almost everything. Taiwan is formally know as the Republic of China(ROC) as opposed to Peoples Republic of China(PRC) or mainland China. Taiwan writes in Traditional Chinese characters and the PRC uses Simplified Chinese characters. I will try to talk my Taiwanese partner into doing something with that article if he is bored today, I have gathered some cites for it.
- Rant is over.. :-)
- Be careful classifying articles as B, very very few really deserve it, especially right out of AfC. Welcome on board and thanks for your help. :- ) Don00:00, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Hello. When Uploading the cove of a music album or single, what should I do if I'm not sure who the author of the said cover is? Question
I have a problem with Keanu Reeves' Wiki page. He never actually said that he was an atheist, yet it is posted thathe is with two bogus "references". Please change it, it's not accurate. Besides, the two "references" didn't state that he said that he was an atheist.
- Thanks for getting in touch! I took a look at the page and at the two references next to that statement (23,24). It seems like both of the references actually do state that Reeves was an atheist - "He reportedly has called himself an atheist", "Hollywood movie star Keanu Reeves said the making of supernatural thriller Constantine has not changed his beliefs about religion but admitted he was now less sceptical about heaven and hell.", and the title, "Keanu 'still an atheist'". If you can find references that state that he is not an atheist, please let me know - I'll then be happy to remove said statements. .. One minor P.S., don't forget to sign your talk page comments with 4 tildes (~~~~). :) Theopolisme TALK16:45, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- The websites state that he is an atheist. Keanu Reeves himself didn't say he was an atheist. He said he really wasn't raised in a particular religion. He didn't say that he didn't believe in God. So those references aren't really accurate.
Also, there is a Keanu Reeves biography by Sheila Johnston that is very accurate and states that he is spiritual, and his mother would practice whatever religion her lovers/husbands were at the time. I just find it very annoying when people post things that the celebrity didn't say himself and take it as the truth just because some stupid website says so. I know nowadays it's not hip or "PC" to believe in God, I'm not religious or anything, but I do believe in God, I was raised Catholic and I am proud of it. I don't have anything against people who don't believe in God, I just don't like people slandering. It's false statements like this that make this website about as accurate as Star/Enquirer magazines.
Thanks. Lo_lee_ta_81
- Hi, and thanks again for getting in touch with me. I strongly suggest that you post your comments on the talk page of Keanu Reeves' article, where others can see your thoughts and, if a general consensus is reached, the material that you find objectionable can be removed. My main interest is war economics and history and on editing Debate over the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki I got into a fight with Binksternet. I admit the topic is controversial. Thus all statements have to have a strong source. The quotation of Tsuyoshi Hasegawa is fraud (note 9) and taken out of context. The quotation of International Review of the Red Cross, No. 323,is fraud and taken out of context. As stated on Binksternet talk page. Foresee a war of edit-undo, but I am stubborn - as long as I can deliver primary sources. Winston Churchill's quotation has to go out (and so does my comments). It's a POV, not based on any evidence to support it. --Robertmossing (talk) 17:20, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for reaching out. I took a look at the page history and it seems that you and User:Binksternet have been having a rather heated dispute - this actually is against the Wikipedia edit-warring policy, which states, "an editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material, on a single page within a 24-hour period," also known as the three revert rule. I suggest you take a look at that information, and then talk to Binksternet calmly and try to work something out - if no consensus is reached, you two both may end up getting banned.. And that wouldn't be very enjoyable! I actually requested that Debate over the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki be given Page Protection, which will prevent you both from editing - which should cause you two to discuss these issues.. Let me know if I can ever be of any more assistance to you, and as always, thanks for being a contributor! :) Theopolisme TALK 17:29, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
good idea. It s a controversial topic. I hope it gets attention from people who either knows something OR is LESS emotionally involved and therefore can better evaluate the validity of the sources. The day of 'anniversary' is coming soon and a lot of pupils may 'click' on the article. So I want the article to be without bias and with sources for the pupils to investigate on their own. 'Ceasefire' may be a good temporary solution to our fight :)--Robertmossing (talk) 18:08, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
