Harassment[edit]

12 May 2013[edit]

– A user has requested CheckUser. An SPI clerk will shortly look at the case and endorse or decline the request.

Why is another user theroadislong harassing me because my name is oddly similar to his. I find this behavior offensive and unrequited. Please ask him to stop this at once.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not known as Kelly Pelaou or am this person at all. I was brought into this matter of Kelly Pelaou by user Theroadislong as he assumed I was mimicking him as our user name was similar. I use a library computer to edit wiki.

Decline reason:

CU Confirmed match to Kelly Pelaou (talk · contribs). —DoRD (talk) 14:15, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. {{unblock|1=
Dear Ponyo, I do not understand what you mean by I was blocked to try "evade the block of your user Kelly Pelaou"! I am not kelly Pelaou and have never been known as Kelly Pelaou. I note that on the thread on your system. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Theroadislong#Sincere_apologies . There was an applogy to Theroadislong for this block of this account suggesting it was wrong. I cannot understand therefore why my account has been blocked indefinitely when Theroadislong has not been blocked either as both were blocked originally presumably under name regularities. I was blocked by Therodislong as he wrote he was annoyed I was using a similar name to his own. See his deleted talk page section Harassment. This resulted in Therodislong asking for Winsock Puppet! complaint against me. You have now said that I created my account to evade the block on Kelly Pelaou. according to your email I created my account Sun, May 12, 2013 at 6:41 PM: Hello Theroadismuchlonger, Welcome to Wikipedia! (21,267 bytes) (+33)‎ . . (→‎Facilities) (undo)." I therefore think your information is incorrect as it appears that User kelly Pelaou was not blocked when my account was opened as from this record it shows she edited after my account was created. I would be grateful that you look into this matter further Kindest Regards Theo
}}

Request reason:

This is the second reason I have been given for the block of my account by you. Ponyo: "The Theroadismuchlonger and Kelly Pelaou accounts are technically and behaviorally indistinguishable from each other and were used in violation of Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts. You will therefore not be unblocked." I have already informed you I am not kelly Pelaou and have never been! A fact that you ignore. I also note that you may be a friend of Theroadislong and would like this matter received by a different administrator as I do not think you are unbiased. You state there is technically and behavioral indistinguishable from each other. I would like to know what fact you base this on as I can assure you that I am not Kelly Pelaou and feel that you are behaving unfairly to me Theo on the basis of Theroadislong's reports. You have also stated incorrectly that my account has been used as Kelly Pelaou s account was blocked. It seems you have changed youre reason for blocking which is entirely irregular. I find this totally unfair. WOULD YOU PLEASE LET SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAS COMMON SENSE REVIEW THIS AS CLEARLY YOU ARE BIASED. Please review the evidence in an unbiased professional manor You have given me two different reasons for my block which I have proven one to be untrue do you not consider the other to be fictional too?

Decline reason:

You edit the same articles in the same manner, add the same information, sign your edit summaries in the same way (a dead giveaway), use the same computer and do so during the same period, giving yourself a username that clearly comments on a contributor that User:Kelly Pelaou is in dispute with. You could not be more obvious if you placed a 78pt flashing sign on your userpage saying I AM KELLY PELAOU. Please don't insult our intelligence by continuing to dispute this block. The block on your primary account has now expired; you may continue to edit with it if you wish. Yunshui 07:58, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As it may be confusing to reviewers, the above rant directed at me is a result of my declining this editor's unblock request on UTRS based on checkuser evidence which confirms a technical match. The editor also requested unblock on-wiki (above) which was also declined by DoRD. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 20:52, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
