Hiya

[edit]

Well hey there fellow Delaware Valley-ian! Always good to get new weather editors. I'm curious, what type of articles are you most interested in? There are all sorts of weather articles on Wikipedia. For example, List of Pennsylvania hurricanes is in pretty bad shape. Or maybe you'd be interested in writing List of Pennsylvania tornadoes. There are a lot, but most are weak, so a good start could be getting a list with all of the F2's and F3's, plus any deadly events (there have been three deadly PA tornadoes since 2000). Or maybe just the Climate of Pennsylvania interests you. There are a lot of options. Hopefully you contribute more than just submitting random articles for AFD ;) Cheers again and welcome! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:45, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I focus more on the Gulf of Mexico side of 'nadoes and 'canes, but why not help out with this too? TidalTreka (talk) 12:41, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh right on! Yea there are tons of 'canes in those parts. Are you more interested in newer or older events? ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:52, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I focus on the major events, like 2005, 1974, and 2011 TidalTreka (talk) 16:33, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. As you might know, there are articles for tropical cyclones by year each year going back to 1991, and tornadoes by year going back to 1946. There are also plenty of individual articles for outbreaks and hurricanes. Let me know if you any help with anything, I've been editing for a long time now, so I can point you in the right direction. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:13, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
did you feel that earthquake? TidalTreka (talk) 17:47, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
