Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Vincent Ruello may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Longhair 01:11, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I've put your article Drops of light up on Articles for Deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Drops of light, so that community consensus is reached about whether it should be on wikipedia or not. Please read Wikipedia:Notability before commenting there. Thanks. Mike Peel 09:02, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An additional note: please only use the "This is a minor edit" checkbox when you are making genuinely making a minor edit - see Help:Minor edit. Your recent edits were marked as minor, but weren't. Thanks. Mike Peel 09:04, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article you wrote, Abbey Road Memento, is uncategorized. Please help improve it by adding it to one or more categories, so it may be associated with related articles. A stub marker or other template doesn't count - please put in an actual category in the article.Eli Falk 23:33, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Advertising

[edit]

Your contributions to Whale song appear to be advertising, which is not permitted (see What Wikipedia is not). They have been reverted. Please do not re-insert them without first discussing your changes on the article talk page. Cheers. QmunkE 07:02, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have also tagged Vinny Pop Whale Song (advertising) and Hope Album (recreation of article which went through the articles for deletion process Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Last Memento of The Beatles) for speedy deletion and removed similar advertising content from List of whale songs. Article moved

[edit]

I haven't deleted anything, I just moved the article from to Whale Song Make A Friend Out Of Me (Vinny Pop) to Make a Friend Out of Me per article titling conventions (unless there is a titling conflict, articles about songs are named just as the song title, and not containing the artist name). ~Matticus TC 10:46, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:2007-09-27-71335.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2007-09-27-71335.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:05, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:2007-09-12-74295.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2007-09-12-74295.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned non-free media (Image:2007-09-12-74295.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2007-09-12-74295.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:17, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Maxwell's Silver Hammer Cartoon

[edit]

An editor has nominated Maxwell's Silver Hammer Cartoon, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maxwell's Silver Hammer Cartoon and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 18:00, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Long Bay Jail Album

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Long Bay Jail Album, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Long Bay Jail Album. Deor (talk) 02:18, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Thomas William Hodgson Crosland, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://rpo.library.utoronto.ca/poet/419.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:35, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Thomas William Hodgson Crosland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Make a Friend Out of Me until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
