ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, W EXPRESS TRAIN. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism - January 2019[edit]

This is your last warning. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Horton v. California, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Your edits have been marked as vandalism and have been reverted. Thank you. - Tim1965 (talk) 16:27, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

January 2019[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

On 01/04/019, I was blocked. This an action that was heinous, uncouth and rash and will live on in infamy, committed by the sick individual known as user:Tim1965. Now, look, I didn't want to come here. I just wanted to look at some shit about a Jim prank on The Office, and some fixing on the article for the M16 rifle, but utter desperation has brought me to this point, groveling at the feet of the moderators of this vile website that needs fixing from yours truly. Now it is the dream of every libertarian, to resist every and all government and governing body making unjust laws. To some, that means smoking some doobies. To some, it means running afoul of the NFA, to others that means living a normal life but not giving much of a shit about what the government thinks. Unfortunately, on this website full of filth and scum, there is no way to resist my chains that won't be caught, thanks to the superior-to-lackluster design of this website, however, that places all of the blame on you. What I did was not right, but it was a victimless crime. In fact, I maintained the functionality of the pages, never leaving any red links. On my most recent joke, I changed Justice Stevens to Justice Sawed-Off Stevens 311D, referring to the venerable side-by-side shotgun. This was not grounds for a permanent block. Much less a punitive one, which this, without a doubt was. So, I, groveling at your feet, ask to take into account my months of service and lift the block. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

While joke edits are not constructive and can result in blocks, you have been permanently blocked for sockpuppetry. Clearly you are not taking this matter seriously, and you are clearly not interested in contributing constructively to the development of the encyclopedia. Please be aware that if you continue to submit unblock requests that do not address the issues that resulted in your block (and if you continue to make abusive comments about administrators and the project in general), your Talk page access will be revoked and any future unblock requests will need to be submitted using UTRS.
