[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Joe Johnson (basketball), please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Free agents in NBA cannot sign until July 11. Please wait for an official announcement before making further changes. See Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association#Free_agent_signings. Thanks. —Bagumba (talk) 06:08, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your contribution to James R. Clapper, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you. He does have a big head, but that kind of comment is better posted on your facebook page. M. Young
[edit]Yankeefan4477, <sarcasm/joking> Just because it wasn't New York who got Young and it was the Phillies doesn't mean you have to veto its inclusion on Wikipedia. </sarcasm/joking> Sorry, had to go there. In all seriousness, however, I have cited I believe five sources which say the deal is done: MLB Twitter, mlb.com, phillies.com, philly.com (The Philadelphia Inquirer), and NBC Sports' website. I asked on Muboshgu's talk page prior to my posting of the info to see what he thought of the sources, and he gave me the go ahead. I am fully aware of WP:CRYSTAL and its ramifications and am happy to see someone else apply it, because it usually ends up being me (or someone else) against 10 IPs, but at this point, I believe it's safe to say the deal is done. Thanks. Go Phightins! 12:16, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions
[edit]Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding transgender issues and paraphilia classification (e.g. hebephilia), a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.-- haminoon (talk) 06:52, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as File:Dbfb7.png, is not in accordance with our policies. The file File:Penile leakage.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
