March 2024[edit]

Hello, I'm Trlovejoy. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Alibaba Group, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. TRL (talk) 01:04, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Alibaba Group. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. MrOllie (talk) 01:34, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have done my research. This is 100% accurate. Zambranoa (talk) 01:40, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop. The material that you are adding is extremely promotional and is not backed by reliable sources. Citing yourself is at best original research and not allowed. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 01:42, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it mean to cite who wrote it. I will site my sources then. Have a good day/night. Zambranoa (talk) 01:47, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You did not research this, you used AI to create a promotional story about a company. It is unreferenced and unencyclopedic, and not the type of content that belongs in Wikipedia. ... discospinster talk 01:46, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry. I wanted to contribute to Wikipedia. I hope I can be part of this marvelous community. :) Zambranoa (talk) 02:13, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to contribute, I would recommend giving the links in the welcome message below a read through. That'll help you get started. One important thing to remember is that when editing Wikipedia, your additions will sometimes be reverted. This happens to everybody. When that happens, it is important to discuss the disagreement instead of re-reverting. Content on Wikipedia is determined by consensus which only comes from discussion. Edit warring will only lead to being blocked from editing. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 02:32, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ok. I have already done a positive contribution (I think its positive) to the lava lamps page. I described on how to make one, followed all guidelines and cited properly. I hope to contribute more. Zambranoa (talk) 02:37, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have blocked that IP to prevent logged-out shenanigans, and I trust that you will not use this account for more disruptive editing. Drmies (talk) 02:46, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
