The men's tournament of Water polo at the 2016 Summer Olympics at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began on 6 August and ended on 20 August 2016. Games were held at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Center and the Olympic Aquatics Stadium.

Serbia won the gold medal by defeating Croatia in the final. Bronze was won by Italy after beating Montenegro.[1]
