Omakase

[edit]

Omakase – (page view stats • edit • talk • history) - (~4500 views a month) 150 daily hits

  • Article could need expansion, c/e, better sourcing. Views are high for a food subject with about 5000 views a month.
  • Comment This is a difficult one. I am not sure how much more can be said on the topic. I have removed a couple of things from the article which I felt didn't belong, including the photo which belongs to a completely different topic (see the talk page). I thought the Japanese wikipedia article on the topic might provide some further sources or inspiration, but I instead discovered that there isn't even a Japanese article on the subject. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 02:34, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Support per page view stats, Mid Importance on WikiProject Food and Drink and its only being Start class. --Rubbish computer (HALP!: I dropped the bass?) 20:21, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Support per Rubbishcomputer. I'm unable to find a wealth of sources, but I imagine they'd all be in Japanese.--Coin945 (talk) 17:15, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Support I'll support because I would love to see it improved. Currently it sounds like it is only used in American sushi restaurants. Of course, it originated in Japanese sushi shops. There are plenty of blogs available in Japanese dealing with people's experiences, but reliable sources that can actually add something may be a problem. SWOT analysis

[edit]

SWOT analysis – (page view stats • edit • talk • history) - 3850 daily hits

  • This topic receives a lot of daily hits and according to the page view page is "ranked 942 in traffic on en.wikipedia.org" However, the contents are a fairly hodge-podge pile of WP:HOWTO instructions. There is little encyclopedic description of the topic, such as its history. The page is semi-protected, so I assume it has been subject to spamming before. If someone is brave enough to tackle this, I wish them luck. I would love to completely re-write it myself from scratch but don't know where to start. Princess Leia

Princess Leia – (page view stats • edit • talk • history) - 22045 in the last 20 days. daily hits

Probably one of the worlds best known fictional characters. The article is C class but is poorly sourced, needs c/e and expansion is possible.
