Welcome to the WikiProject San Francisco 49ers! The project was formed on November 23, 2008 as a branch off of the NFL Project with the express goal to bring together Wikipedians who are interested in the San Francisco 49ers. Even though there is a lot of information about the NFL on Wikipedia, there is so much more to do!

If you feel that you can help out in this project, please become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion area.

The project aims primarily to:
  • Create and expand the coverage of articles whose content is connected to the San Francisco 49ers organization.
  • Set up consistent structural and graphical layouts for displaying information on these articles.
  • Bring as much content about the 49ers to featured status.
