- Template:Afc warning (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
was created for a bot task (Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Snotbot 8) which is withdrawn - so unused and orphaned. mabdul 18:44, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Delete - Yup, I created the template and can confirm that it's not going to be used (by me) for anything. —SW— babble 18:45, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Keep Maybe - Could we modify it and use it in place of the single line ChzzBot IV comment? It would definitely draw more attention. :- ) DCS 21:05, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Comment: Please not! There are submissions (e.g. disambiguation and templates) which simply don't need any references! mabdul 00:20, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

trivial hard-coded instance of {{category TOC}}. Should be substituted on existing pages. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 15:18, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Unused and unclear purpose. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 13:20, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- That's why users have talk pages. Rich Farmbrough, 13:27, 8 March 2012 (UTC).
- Apologies. I see this has been userfied, so the nom is moot. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 13:36, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was delete Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 05:35, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
hardcoded instance of {{category TOC}} used on a handful of category pages. The code is simple enough to include directly, so recommend substitution. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 12:48, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Keep, unless you can guarantee no one will ever want to use this template on another category. Rich Farmbrough, 13:29, 8 March 2012 (UTC).
- They very well may do. however, it is counterproductive to fill category:Wikipedia category table of contents templates with dozens of variants of the same template with different, trivial, flags passed to it. Just transclude {{category TOC}} directly and pass the necessary flags to it. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 13:38, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Delete as redundant. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:45, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- delete, rarely used, so no reason to keep it around as a separate template. Frietjes (talk) 23:45, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

- Template:SubTOC (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Used on a single project page and only a handful of the links are filled in. I've replaced the implementation with a call to {{CompactTOC8}}: the single transclusion can now be substituted. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 11:45, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
