Listing of requests concerning articles.

Articles for Creation[edit]

This is a listing of requested articles for creation. Once the articles have been created, please move them to the relevant section (i.e. articles for expansion).

  • Can we get an article for some of the space marine special characters? I've noticed there aren't any!
  • Actually there are articles for nearly every space marine character which has been defined as notable, these pages can be found through the chapter pages of that marine eg. Mephiston in the Blood Angels or Ragnar Blackmane in the Space Wolves page. hope that helps :) Lowris 12:50, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • What about the Tyrannic War Vetrans? Would they classify as a special character? They do have their own section in the Space Marine Codex, in the special characters pages, but they don't have an incredibly different setup.
  • Also, regarding the Warhammer 40,000 novels, such as Nightbringer, could those be used in the history sections as fluff? --Guilliaman 14:21, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I propose to start an article on Chaplain Erebus of the Word Bearers, considering he staged the corruption of Horus. Syrion 19:24, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Propose an article on Last Chancers, both from the in-universe perspective (Penal Legions), and in-game (army of 10 or so models. Darkson - BANG! 11:48, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Expansion[edit]

A list of articles that need to be expanded/bulked up.

  • Note: Please remove from this section once the article is sufficiently expanded.
  • Expansion of Tanith (Warhammer 40,000) with info from Guns of Tanith onwards, as I don't own any of those books. Background info on Tanith, as well as 'history' of the Ghosts. -- saberwyn 13:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't quite know what all I can do, but I just got done reading His Last Command with Gaunt's Ghosts and the attack and then bombardment of the Mons. If that's ok, then I can help--Guilliaman 09:21, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Evaluation[edit]

A listing of articles for general evaluation. Whether you think the article needs to be rewritten, cleaned-up, wikified, sourced or grilled and roasted, this is the list for it.

  • Note: Please remove from this section once the article is sufficiently fixed.
  • Would members mind checking out my latest edits to the Night Lords page? I have attempted to bring it more in line with the WP:WAF by removing in-universe tone, fan speculation, original research and purple prose (I found that the majority of the article was either paraphrased or plagiarised straight from the Night Lords IA article. It needed removal anyway). Subsequently, there have been concerns raised that the edits are too drastic. I've stated some of my reasoning on the discussion page for that article and am happy to discuss further. Ultimately, I'd like to rewrite the entire article to a similar degree, and follow on with the rest of the legion articles.Primarch 14:13, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • The Chaos Legion pages seem to have taken on a lot more gaming information than previously- especially in the combat doctrine. Should there be an effort to separate 40k game terminology from 40k fiction/fluff?Primarch 00:39, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Could someone please look at the Dark Angels page - I think that the fluff is plagiarised word for word from Codex: Angels of Death mattbuck 10:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Articles for Cleanup[edit]

This is a listing for articles that you think may need cleanup. To posters, please indicate (in bold text) what specifically needs cleaning-up about the article, whether it is written in-universe, context, tone or anything else.

  • Note: Please remove from this section once the article is sufficiently cleaned-up.
The following should cut down the article: Link to the main page of the Exodites, cut that section down to one paragraph. Cut the Harlequin section down to one paragraph (since its already linked via main page). Eldar Gods deserve their own page. That should be a start. I will put forth a page on the Eldar Gods/track down what is there. SanchiTachi 16:15, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
How does it look now? Is that a move into the direction you are looking for? I can work on the Craft Worlds section next. The Path of the Warrior could probably have its own section and left more like a brief list. I'll wait for opinion. SanchiTachi 17:55, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. How about moving the info about Yriel to the List of Eldar (Warhammer 40,000) page and just leaving a little here like for the Pheonix Lords. The Path of the Warrior changes sound good that will significantly reduce the size of the article. Go ahead Pterodactal 01:42, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I made a separate page for the craftworlds and combined the individual stub pages for the ones that had pages into it. If someone could fill in some basic characteristics (two or three additional sentences) of craftworld eldar (as opposed to the craftworlds themselves) that would help the page. Also, I moved Yriel over and gave him a picture. SanchiTachi 06:10, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Listing of requests concerning images.

Image Upload[edit]

This is a listing of image upload requests. Please provide details for images that you want uploaded, and what page(s) they will be used for. Some helpful details would be the miniature itself, what version of the miniature, any specific army/color-scheme and the camera angle (if applicable) and distance.

Miscellany[edit]

Miscellany for Evaluation[edit]

  • In the references list, Xenology had somehow (almost certainly a copy-and-paste error by me, but I haven't actually checked the history) acquired the ISBN of Fire Warrior; this error may well have propogated into articles, but I can't find an easy way to check for this. If you see any references to Xenology, please check the ISBN: it should be 1-84416-282-6, not 1-84416-010-6. Cheers --Pak21 13:10, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Yeah, it did get put in a few articles. I'm fixing it when I run into it. --Falcorian (talk) 19:35, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
