York Township is one of twelve townships in Carroll County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,734 and it contained 929 housing units.[2]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 56.42 square miles (146.1 km2), of which 47.51 square miles (123.1 km2) (or 84.21%) is land and 8.91 square miles (23.1 km2) (or 15.79%) is water.[2]
