Welcome!

Hello, SaneProf, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as SaneProf, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! PRAXIDICAE🌈 13:55, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on SaneProf, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia because your username, SaneProf, does not meet our username policy. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have selected a new username that meets the username policy guidelines, which are summarized below.
Per the username policy, a username should represent an individual and should not: represent a group or organization; be promotional; be misleading (such as indicating possession of special user rights or being a "Bot" account (unless approved for such purposes)); be offensive or otherwise disruptive. However, a username that contains the name of a organization and also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87" is allowed, but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company". Among others, the guidance on conflict of interest and the policy of paid-contribution disclosure are relevant.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our username policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you wish for your existing contributions to carry over under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" from their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a change of name request.
  3. Your requested new username cannot already be in use. Therefore, please check the list here to see if a name is taken prior to requesting a change of name.
Appeals: If, after reading the guide to appealing blocks you believe you were blocked in error, then you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:08, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

OK, that would work. What would you work on as an editor if we unblocked you? Daniel Case (talk) 06:36, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'll keep editing when I get unblocked — Preceding unsigned comment added by SaneProf (talkcontribs)
  1. Please put new talk page posts at the bottom of the page, so that the discussion flows in the correct chronological order.
  2. Please sign your posts so that we know who said what, and when.
  3. Please be more specific about what topic areas you plan to edit if you are unblocked. You won't be unblocked unless you agree to, in the short term, edit topics that are outside your conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:14, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SaneProf: Please reply soonest. @Jimfbleak and Daniel Case: proceed with rename? Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:14, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to hear what, specifically, they would "keep editing" if they can't recreate the SaneProf article (the subject of which I'm not sure was notable). And do they have a connection to SaneProf? Daniel Case (talk) 18:17, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

First off, apologies for the late response. I pledge to edit pages and articles that are out of my conflict of interest. Regarding SaneProf article, well I wrote it just to see how creating articles on Wikipedia works and I'm happy the page was deleted. I promise such nonsense won't be repeated. Thanks. SaneProf

What is your association with SaneProf? What topics might you edit about? These questions need to be answered before we can consider unblocking you. 331dot (talk) 08:38, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1. Okay, I am SaneProf and like I said I was messing around the content creation wizard. 2. I’ll like to edit topics on technology, education, and business.

Okay, here are the answers to the question.

1. I am SaneProf, and like I said I was messing around the content creation wizard, which means the content I wrote about SaneProf was about me. 2. I’ll like to edit topics on technology, education, and business.

Information icon Hello, SaneProf. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Ultimate Group of Schools, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

Draft:Ultimate Group of Schools, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Ultimate Group of Schools and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Ultimate Group of Schools during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. AdamF in MO (talk) 21:00, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for bringing this to my notice. Actually, I stopped expanding the draft because I was caught up with trying to get my new username request approved.

For the mean time, I’ll suggest that the draft be moved to my user page so that I can continue editing once everything is set.

Thanks. SaneProf (talk) 10:11, 9 December 2022 (UTC)SaneProf.[reply]

Hello, SaneProf. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ultimate Group of Schools".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 21:48, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have been sending unblock requests for a while now and I hope it goes well this time. SaneProf (talk) 23:35, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).

Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please place {{subst:Unblock on hold-notification | 1=Sentoreal}} on the administrator's talk page. Then replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un on hold | 1=blocking administrator | 2=sentoreal | 3=I have been sending unblock requests for a while now and I hope it goes well this time. SaneProf (talk) 23:35, 17 August 2023 (UTC) | 4=~~~~}}[reply]

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=sentoreal | reason=I have been sending unblock requests for a while now and I hope it goes well this time. SaneProf (talk) 23:35, 17 August 2023 (UTC) | accept=Allowing username change to requested username. Please select an option from [[Wikipedia:Changing username]] and file a request as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. ~~~~}}[reply]

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, replacing {{subst:Decline reason here}} with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=sentoreal | reason=I have been sending unblock requests for a while now and I hope it goes well this time. SaneProf (talk) 23:35, 17 August 2023 (UTC) | decline={{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}[reply]
