Your edit to List of countries by Muslim population
[edit]Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to List of countries by Muslim population. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — Kralizec! (talk) 11:40, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Icelanders are not Norwegian!!!
[edit]I just spent two hours of my valuable time purging the Norwegian Canadian article of the additions you made concerning Icelandic Canadians, which would be like adding Polish Canadian to Russian Canadian or Irish Canadian to Scottish Canadian. Please do not re-add them, or I will have to cite you for malicious or at best time-wasting WP:Original research. Icelanders are distinct from Norwegians, in Canada as well as in Scandinavia.....Skookum1 (talk) 17:13, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Looking at your user page, it appears you are Norwegian and live in Bergen. You should know better than to create such false history/false information about Scandinavian ethnicities. Unless, perhaps, you believe that Norwegians are really Danish....Skookum1 (talk) 17:14, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Christianity by country, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. That table you just added looks great, good work. Do you know how to make it so that you can put in whatever order of highest to lowest that you want? I would do it, but I don't know how...! Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 14:00, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. You can use the "wikitable sortable" to do it, if I have understood you right. Is there a way that, for example, "List of countries by population," you think of? :)Oro2 (talk) 14:07, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- That sounds like what I'm talking about. I still haven't fully got into learning table syntax, so I don't want to mess it up, but you would be able to click the arrow on each column to sort it in numerical or alphabetical order. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 14:10, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, right!=)

AfD nomination of Democratic Republic of the Congo – Norway relations
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Democratic Republic of the Congo – Norway relations. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Democratic Republic of the Congo – Norway relations. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of List of Norwegians by religion for deletion
[edit]A discussion has begun about whether the article List of Norwegians by religion, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Norwegians by religion until a concensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

The article Einar Lunde has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Kudpung (talk) 14:38, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

The article List of municipalities of Western Norway has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Completely redundant to List of municipalities of Norway
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Arsenikk (talk) 16:37, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I noticed you have made File:Flag-of-vestlandet.gif, but there already is and , so your flag don't need to be copied to Commons. But I have a question. Should I fix colors in "Flag of Vestlandet.svg" to your colors, or let the official Norway colors? Hosmich (talk) 08:23, 10 June 2013 (UTC) Hello, that is such a long time ago, I'm honestly not sure. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Bridge-in-oygarden.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Bridge-in-oygarden.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Germany Norway Locator.png
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Germany Norway Locator.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
