Professor Barry Azzopardi MSc, PhD (born Gibraltar, 1947[citation needed]) is a chemical engineer specialising in multiphase flow research.

Career

He is a chartered engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and is Lady Trent Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. At Nottingham, Azzopardi has been Head of Department of Chemical Engineering and has led a research group in multiphase flow. He is an editor of Chemical Engineering Research and Design, the Official Journal of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering: Part A and is and has been an organiser and member of scientific committees of the Assembly of World Conferences on Experimental Heat Transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, as well as the 2007 International Conference on Multiphase Flow (ICMF). At these, and other, conferences he has given keynote lectures.[1][2][3]
