Hunt's Pond State Park
Hunt's Pond State Park is a state-managed conservation area in Chenango County, New York, United States. The park is located in the town of New Berlin, west of Route 8 and southwest of the village of New Berlin.
The small park is dominated by Hunt's Pond in its center. As a pollution control measure, only non-motorized watercraft are permitted in the lake.
In 2011, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation took management responsibility for the park and closed the camping area. The park offers picnic tables with pavilions, hiking, fishing, seasonal deer hunting, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, and a boat launch.
Hunt's Pond State Park is open year-round.
