Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Pronunciation. The page indicates that pronunciation should be used sparingly. Because it is not purely vandalism, however, editors will be unlikely to revert the insertion of pronunciation by users who are most likely acting in good faith. Such restraint is a Wikipedia guideline. National varieties of English[edit]

There are also few cases where it is acceptable to add people to nav boxes for TV series and other media.
