Untagged Images[edit]

[1] According to this, you currently have 10 images on the English Wikipedia without copyright information. If we do not get them tagged correctly, there is a very real danger of deletion of these images. I do not mind helping you tag them. Do you still have copyright information for them? - CorbinSimpson 11:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging for Image:Trijet.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Trijet.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Image Tagging Image:Gasmith.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Gasmith.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Hetar 04:53, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article Doleful creatures has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:DICDEF of a phrased use once in one edition of the Bible.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. August 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Archie's Funhouse may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Ways to improve South Radworthy[edit]

Hi, I'm Matty.007. Matt r baker, thanks for creating South Radworthy!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Good article, just needs inline citations

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Matty.007 07:53, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I missed the citations, so the tag is now removed. Matty.007 07:54, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have just got North Radworthy over 1500 bytes of readable prose, and am going to try and get it on Did You Know. The link to my proposed hook is here. Thanks, Matty.007 08:38, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates & significant figures[edit]

Hi Matt

I have seen your addition of coordinates to various motorway articles. Looks good, but on a small point of detail, may I suggest that you use 4 significant figures, not 6. The reason is that 6 sig figs represents 0.1111 metres accuracy latitude and an even greater accuracy longitude. I personally think that 4 sig figs. (11.11 metres) is good enough. (If you want to check this, recall that the metre was designed so that the distance from the North Pole to the equator was 10,000 km. Martinvl (talk) 13:35, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have translated your article into the German WP. And, if you're interested, added some more significant information. Since I used an English language source Google translate will certainly do it for you. --Matthiasb (talk) 08:17, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
