List of participants[edit]

Do we need a list of participants? It might be useful, but the main list of project participants would probably suffice. Leithp 08:50, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I assume that each article may have a different set of associated participants, no? That's the way the regular CotW works (where the people who participate are mostly the ones who supported the article), which would make keeping another list here somewhat useless. —Kirill Lokshin 15:26, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Fair 'nuff. Leithp 20:59, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Close Voting[edit]

I'd suggest that we close voting on 5th March 23:59 UTC, i.e. the start of the week (server time) marks the start of the new collaboration. This might not be ideal in terms of switching over but it would be simple. Any thoughts? Leithp 20:25, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No objections from me. Hopefully enough people will have noticed this by then that we can have a decent number participating in the actual collaboration. —Kirill Lokshin 20:34, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Community Portal[edit]

Added this to the community portal. This needs to be kept updated, or someone needs to create a /current page that can be linked rather than the direct link I put there. Staxringold 17:08, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawal process[edit]

English longbow hasn't gotten any votes in nearly two weeks. I'm willing to withdraw my nomination. Do we have a procedure or do I just take it off the list? Durova 00:02, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, no formal procedure. Feel free to take it off if you'd like. —Kirill Lokshin 00:04, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template on Article or Talk page?[edit]

Oleg Alexandrov has raised the issue on Wikipedia talk:Collaborations of whether the template for the current winner of a collaboration should go on the article or the talk page. You might be interested in taking part. Pruneau 00:33, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Archival of selection[edit]

Perhaps I've missed something, but isn't the selection/voting page archived? If not, could perhaps the project page be modified to function a bit like the articles for deletion process or be manually moved to a subpage for later viewing. Scoo 07:15, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is: Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Collaboration/2006. The link is given in the maintenance instructions; do you think it should be more prominent? Kirill Lokshin 12:30, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, let's put that down to too hot working conditions.. Perhaps a link could be added to the table providing statistics and such (though another row of information might clutter the table too..) Scoo 12:45, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a link to the archive below the table; that shouldn't be too cluttered, I think. Kirill Lokshin 12:53, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a large addition to this article today. It would be nice if it could be looked over by someone else before the collaboration is over :) Inge 13:19, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The end has come[edit]

I just wanted to inform everyone here that this page is currently being considered by Kirill Lokshin to be shut down in favor of the new Contest Department. Cheif Captain 03:06, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
