After fifteen matches played in the season, Liverpool sits second in the Premier League table with 30 points, behind leaders Arsenal by five points, and goal difference ahead of third placed Chelsea. After fifteen games played in the 2012-13 Liverpool F.C. season, LFC had just nineteen points and sat in 11th place.

Liverpool fans have allowed for some optimism during the early days of the season as the club looks to attain UEFA Champions League qualification for the first time since finishing second in 2008-2009.
