The Division Élite is the highest level of baseball in France. Its clubs compete for the Championnat de France de baseball. It is an nine team league that plays a 32-game schedule on weekends, with the season running from late March to early September. The top four teams qualifiy for the playoffs with the winners of the semifinals advancing to the best-of-five finals in October. The league follows a promotion and relegation system with the Division N1A.
