Shamakhi Dancers

Please make your contribution on Shamakhi Dancers page. What can you add concerning Georgian dances that are in the repertoir of Az. Republic's traditional dance groups? I have remarked some Georgian dances performed by the Azerbaijan Republic dancers. Please not that real Azerbaijan is found in North Iran. Genuine name for Soviet Azerbaijan prior to occupation by the Russians was Arran. Azerbijan and Republic of Azerbaijan are distinct matters and their cultura are different. Hi Arkankipcak. Well, I will have to consult some sources before adding anything valuable to the topic as I'm not an expert on the subject. As for the Azerbaijan issue, I have to respectfuly disagree with you. I know an Iranian sentiment on this, but to me both the Rep. of Azerbaijan and Iranian Azerbaijan are equally "real". Of course, nation-making is a big impetus to the new or renewed identity, but the Azeri culture and identity has formed in a multi-cultural setting. The Iranian infuence was, without doubt, immense on all South Caucasian countries - Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia. Some peoples consolidated at an earlier stage of history, other did that later; but this is not the reason to refuse the already formed nations their identity. I actually just blocked both of them, since both of them were reverting at least 10 times on April 9 tragedy. I was thinking of protecting the pages but there were too many of them, so I figured the best way to stop the disruption would be to block them both. Excuse me for interfering, but I come hither for the same topic: Belarus has not yet recognised the two countries, but the leader of the progovernment party and many other MPs have acclaimed their independence and there will be a summit of the CSTO member states on 5 September and I would advise Kober not to replace "partially recognised" with "recognised only by Russia" - in 8 days we shall see how other proponents of the indepence there are, therefore are such edits futile and incoherent with the recognition by the legally elected Hamas governemnt of the Palestinian territories. I agree with you entirely about the term "autonomy". There are many autonomous subjects of the Russian Federation that are not independent states. The use of the word "invaders" is perhaps the critical term here. You cannot invade your own territory. Hi Kober! I'm glad that you are contributing again, I was rather concerned at one point. I wish there was something concrete I could do.

Anyway, I've now completely rewritten the Finnish article on Georgia (it was about time). It's getting rather long, but I'd still like to add a chapter on education. However, I'm having a hard time finding good, up-to-date sources on the net. So, if you know a good source (structure, most important institutions etc.) I'd be happy to know about it – or, if you have the time at some point, maybe you could write a chapter here and I could translate it (there's nothing at the moment). Another example of "massive reverting without discussion" (35,779 bytes) has occurred in the Mikheil_Saakashvili article. Information derived from WSJ:"U.S. Ally Proves Volatile Amid Dispute With Russia" was deleted and replaced with a one-line prejudicial and poorly worded characterization of a Pravda article. SO/medieval history

Kober, you misunderstood me. Ossetians couldn't have formed 3 distinct territorial entities in Georgia (i.e. Dogor, Iron and Kudar), because Digor and Iron are in North Ossetia. Hence I haven't made a nationalistic removal of the kingdom of Georgia. I tried to make the next sentence ...part migrated towards and over the Caucasus mountains into the kingdom of Georgia where they formed three distinct territorial entities... more accurate. He was Georgian and according to the Time he was in the post of "onetime Soviet Vice-Commissar of Harbors for the Black Sea region" her. according to other sourses he was deputy of Transport minister in Georgia, he leav Georgia in 1921 and he was engineer by occupation and invovlved in the Russian Revolution. some sources said that he born in 1883 Kharkiv and in 1905 was arrested for belonging to Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, but escape and moved to Austria and immigrate to Argentine and work there 9 yers as railway engineer. after October Revolution in 1917 he back to Russia and become the deputy of Transport minister in Georgia. in 1920 he was arrested by White army of Anton Ivanovich Denikin condemned to death and escape to Istanbul and from thiere to Palestine in 1921 ect.

Maybe you have other sources or information. can you check issue of his post in the Georgian government (Soviet government?). or maybe the origin Georgian surname. Thanks for any information.

Mikheil Saakashvili vandalism

Hi I noticed you have been also reverting the IP vandalism on Mikheil Saakashvili. I've checked a few of the IP they are from Russia more specifically Moscow . I've put the article up for Semi-protection but it wasn't being Vandalised enough. next time you revert could you also warn the IP so they can be blocked individually regards, I'm a Brit by the way 安東尼 TALK ^圣诞快乐 19:17, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi Kober. I'm o.k. I live in the centre of Israel the events occur south to me. All the history of Palestinian people they behave stupiditly. they have few chanses to have a state but decied not to do so. They support Sadam Hussein when all the world opposed to him. And now the meaningless Hamas that put a target to demolish Israel. They don't want to leave peacefully in thiere place, they just bombing israely civilianes and make 1 milion people to thiere hostage. Israel of course will delete the threat, even we tried to avoid casualties from both side and did not respond for alog time. But now we do so. Borjomi

hi Kober, I'm trying to make article about Borjomi but have few questions:

• Thiere is two residence or palace of Mikhail Nikolaevich: Likani palace her and this or this. whai is the connection between them?

• In some places it mentioned that the viceroy of Viceroyalty of the Caucasus build his residance in Borjomi ect. it seems to be Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich of Russia but in other places (including thr article about Likani) mentioned his son Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich of Russia. what is the correct. the father was the viceroy and was still alive in that time (in the begining.

• The historic districts of Samtskhe-Javakheti in the Georgian wiki mentioned: Tori, Javakheti, Meskheti and ka:სამცხე. they are different? Javakheti include tori? Meskheti include Samtskhe?

• It is mentioned that Borjomi was given to the Russian Empire accordin the Treaty of Adrianople in 1829. but accordin to her russian soldiers find the Borjomi water in 1816 ?

Don't accuse me of vandalism. I have been WP:BOLD in adding SOURCED info to the main article. You have now undone this on two occasions. I am not going to edit war with you on this, however, I will be enforcing WP:V on this occasion. WP:BURDEN states:

Original Research?

Why did you change Operation Clear Field from actual to alledged? Do you have any articles proving so? You cannot just go around articles, and dispute them at your pleasure, and change them to fit your whims, you have to cite sources and discuss your changes, just like everyone else. When suggesting a major edit, like a title change, please take a look at the archives. If there are scores of editors and over 100 pages on it, please have the courtesy not to restart the controversy. Wikipedia is supposed to by Encyclopedic. Also, when you try to "force someone to peace" - or force someone in general, that could lead to a war, it's a fancy term, "forcing someone to peace" but in reality all it means is that you want to get your way under false pretenses. First off, one of the editors was Pocopocopocopoco - who has edited the article within the past 20 days, and with whom I have conferred on an article related issue within the past 5 days. So by notifying Pocopocopocopoco - I am desperate? The other one, Russavia, even you agreed that Russavia was watching the poll. Thus that leaves 3 edits, all of whom have editing this article before, in the past year.

Secondly, you say that I posted "POV announcements on improper article talk pages." However, you only cited a single page. Are you unaware that 2 or more is greater then 1?
